For me MvC was too fast paced. It seemed that I was just mashing buttons whereas in MK I was actually reacting to my opponents moves.

Mortal Kombat, I have both and enjoy MvC3, but that's at its basic just a massive button bash simulator, whereas MK takes pacing and some skill.

For example, I destroy my brother at MK, then I challenged him to MvC3 [which he never played before] and I got crushed because he pressed every button as fast as possible

Also MK has a story...and scantily clad womens

As much as it pains me to say it, MK is just more fun.


MvC3 killed it for me when they didn't allow for single vs single and/or double vs double.
The triple teams were stupid and took away from the fun.

What are you talking about? Yeah there is, but only as an Arcade event.

Mortal Kombat. Not to say there are not cheap bastards in it...but MvC is THE cheapest fighting game I have EVER played. Thats...saying....alot.

Plus I feel like I atleast am thinking out my fight. I have a general idea of what I want to do in MvC, but its still similar to button mashing. When I play MK, I am more specific and calculating. Especcially with my main char Smoke, with moves such as the counter projectile shaking move.
