I enjoyed virtually everything about ME 2. The only gripe i had was mining, but thats been fixed lets move on.

For the gun issue. Personally what they should have done was combine both set-ups. What Bioware should have is, this:

Give you a set amount of heat sinks for each weapon, Allow your weapon to overheat but increase the cooldown time, so that you have to think tactically about it. Is my situation secure enough for me to wait for the gun to cool? Or should I pop the heat sink, put in a fresh one and instantly cool the gun down?

That would have worked far better.

But they never are. Just because they have a space suit doesn't mean that they're going to ever wear it.

This entire review is nothing more than someone actively looking for things to complain about rather than giving an opinion on the game simply because he thinks that they changed it too much.
Entirely disagreed. For your first point, it wouldn't make any kind of sense for a character working in a spaceship, being in spaceship battles, and coming from a society with the sufficient technology to make it fairly comfortable, to not wear a vacuum safe suit. It's not a matter of whether it happens in-game. If you made a non-combat adventure game set to WW2, with the main character a Nazi soldier recently separated from his unit, I would react if he was wearing civilian clothes for no reason, unless that reason is readily apparent. In the same vein, you'd expect the crew in Mass Effect to wear a uniform emphasizing safety because that's what they'd be prepared for.

As for your second point, I disagree with that as well. I take the OP at face value; he makes it clear that he likes the game, likes many things about the game, but that this particular thread is him focusing on the things he disliked. Of course he's actively looking, that's a necessity in any case where reviewing a game is done. I really don't see the problem here.
Well. Sometimes realism kills a game, I guess.
