No, no, no, we both need Gold..

And it's on my Profile
Oh, I know that, but (assuming there's an option), you can have more of it, as I'll be learning.

And added.

Na, your awesome. Now that you have explained that you are in no hurry to get Me2.
Thank you, it's just everywhere else on this website seems to be going batshit crazy about it...

How can you have more Gold than someone else?

OH!

No, I mean LIVE Gold, not ingame currency

After KZ2 and Mw2, I thought people were done about hyping shit up so much.
Yep, the first one wasn't the most amazing thing ever, although it's a cool experiment of interconnecting narrative RPGs.

I hate hype, it has destroyed a fair few solid games in it's time.

Ok, well is borderlands worth £21.97? Because I played it for a while at a friend's house, but I don't know how long it is.
Totally worth it.
I've been sitting for 30+ hours, and no Vault in sight
Vault? I knew it! It is a Fallout rip off!

I'm just yanking your chain I know that the vault on there is meant to keep some kind of treasure, but you have to admit from the glances I have had of this game it does look a lot like a comic style fallout 3.

From what I've played, the shooting aspect is way better, and is about skill more than stats (sorta), whereas fallout is way different.

Yeah, but really Pandora isn't a post apocalyptic wasteland like the Wasteland in Fallout 3.

To be honest, take one look at the gameplay and it's pretty obvious that Borderlands is much more action oriented.

By this point nothing could beat Mass Effect 2. For me, anyways. I mean, all the stuff I've read about it point to it being beyond epic.

Borderlands. As much as I love BioWare, Borderlands is better than anything they've ever done, so get that.

Yeah I admit it definantly looks more action orientated, but the area still looked like a wasteland. I'm not bashing the game for looking similar to fallout 3, especially since they have a different story and set up as well as it's meant to be on some kind of alien planet too, but really I don't have that much info. I try not to get hyped on games so most games I go in blind so when I played Rachet & Clank: Tools of destruction (never played the ones before) I loved it, however it meant when I came across the Conan game I was really pissed off.

Vault
Wasteland
Even the money looks like the "Pre-War Money" from Fallout
It's still fun as hell though
yeah I bet it is and it's on my "to buy and play" list next to mass effect and various others, though I have a massive pile of games to play through and trade in. I decided to save spave and traded in loads of games I'll never play again, but I still have some old games like FF7 and FF9.

Borderlands:
- No fun when you play by yourself.
++ A lot of fun when you play splitscreen with a friend. It's always fun to haggle over weapons with your friend, trying to decide who get's the new awesome-tastic gun you just found.
- Art direction: Enviroments look boring, bland and shitty.
+ Art direction: Characters look cool.
- Story: Shit.
- Replay value: You can have two playthroughs on each character you have. But only two. After that? Who knows what happens to your character.
- DLC: Though the DLC-packs offer a few extra hours to dick around in new areas and new enemies, they don't raise the level cap, which is a problem.
++ SPLITSCREEN! More games need this feature.

I do not own a 360, but I am inclined to say Mass Effect 2. It reminds me of Fallout 3(moral choices, shooting) and fuckin love that game. N7!

When I saw this I immediatly clicked mass effect 2, but I didn't read what you said. Well, the whole mate thing changes it. Mass effect is brilliant, but just fucking around with some mates in borderlands is much fun 2, however you will be depended on them. But it is your choice, and you should get a job. :D

Mass Effect 2 of course! Borderlands becomes a repetitive trudge after a while, while ME2 stays fresh with so many options.
