So, yeah. What platform you gonna get it on?

Aaand.. I need some suggestions. I have ME1/2 on both PC, and 360. PC first, since at heart I'm a PC gamer and got my console afterwards, but have played that far more lately. Reason was I wanted to play ME2 more, but of course, gotta do ME1, but it didn't work properly on my old laptop.
So I got them both for my Xbox. Why not? Got it cheap.

So that leaves me with Shepards on both consoles (And frankly I'm going to replay the whole lot again anyway in prep for it's release so I know wtf I chose and did..)
I'm getting collectors edition too. PC and 360 are almost the same, but 360 gets an awesome Normandy avatar thingie.
I originally pre-ordered PC. And I wanna give it a chance and stay faithful to PC, but really, I can't think of many reasons. Origin is a biiiig reason to -not- go PC.

I wouldn't mind the Normandy item, either..

So, go with the poll of what you're doing, and maybe leave some suggestions for me 'n my dilemma please. :)

PS: Kinect makes no difference for me to Xbox version. Don't have one don't want one don't need one.

Alot of people planned on getting it on PC but with Origin they might change their minds about it.

I'm an Xbox gamer at heart, but if you prefer PC, go ahead. That is if you're like me and don't give a crap about the "Origin Conspiracy" or whatever people are calling it these days.

I think I read somewhere that Origin is going to be implemented into the Xbox version as well, just not as majorly as it is on PC.

I shall be dropping my pants, bending over and using the Origin-enhanced PC version.

Urrrg.

It'll be worth it though. Imported Shepard(s), more comfortable controls (for me) and better graphics.

If you're into modding games, get the PC version. If not, go 360.

360.

My PC is in my basement when I'd much rather be up in my nice comfy bed, and I do not have the scratch right now to buy a PS3.

Bought the last game and all its DLC on the 360 so that's what I'm sticking with. Already preordered the N7 Edition too.

Getting PC. Origin isn't that bad, unless you haven't read anything on it and just followed the hype streams generated online, and the PC will have better controls (I believe I read somewhere they are giving us our journal and codex buttons back. YAY!), better graphics, faster loading times, and other perks too.
I honestly couldn't care about some Normandy XBL thing, as I do not want to have to put up with XBL. Hell, in all honesty, there is no way I'd waste $250+ on a console anyway, but if you already have on that's not a problem.

Really, to have a good idea of what would be better, and by how much, we'd probably need your PC specs. I'm just going with a yours-are-similar-to-mine here, so you'll be getting 3 second loading screens, Max graphical settings and more precise and IMO easier to use controls that the keyboard and mouse are.

But you know what, flip a coin. Whilst its in the air, you should know which side you want it to land on, and your problem will be solved before the coin stops moving.

Doesn't that mean you'll never be able to use your original ME1 Shepard though?

What are these "console" thingies people keep mentioning about?
It's like an arcade cabinet but smaller and in your home. Also, no quarters. It's the best thing ever.

If you're against Origin than I think it's obvious.

Though if it's not that big of a deal, pick the Shepard you love most.

I have one I've played ME1 through 6 times with, and ME2 3 times with, so I couldn't leave him and his bro Wrex.

So for me it's a 360.

I'm getting it on the Xbox, because that's the system I'm more comfortable on.

As for your issue, go with what feels more natural. Personally I don't get the whole "loyalty to x platform" thing, but if you don't feel like you'll have the best experience on a certain platform, don't feel obligated to get it for said platform. At least that's how I see things.

yes it does....

and it also kind of sucks in that you have to download the cerberus pack in order to choose certain decisions....so if you cant connect your console to the internet your screwed (if you dont use a previous save then it goes with all the crapy renegade dicisions)

there is also the sidequest stuff isnt there (like conrad verner or that lady from noveria)

however the GOOD thing is that the PS3 version coomes with the DLC..such as lair of the shadow broker whcih I couldnt access from PC..and when Im done with that Ill be able to get the last one (ascention? or somthing) which is good since I think this stuff is sort of plot important (and of coarse on one of most hughly acticipated games Im less likley to have issues)

so theres both good and bad..I also hope this port is a little better

I heard this too, personally I'm not buying it if they tie it into Origin. Not everyone can actually plug their Xbox permanently into the internet if it's Always-Online DRM.

OT: Get a console, as the ports are generally better these days & you're less likely to notice the DRM.
