Humans? They're the closest thing to a likable race in the setting.
How dare you? Humans are brash, impulsive, greedy and violent. Asari are generally the people you'd want running the universe, taking a long view, thinking things through with hundreds of years to learn and forge new ideas.
See, I like the whole "brash, impulsive, greedy, and violent" thing. I prefer those elements in humanity to the pseudo-Zen approach that one token 'pretty' race always seems to have in a science fiction setting.

Volus, and Elcor
Here you have my second and third choices, respectively.

I would pay to see the Elcor production of Hamlet.

How were you able to fit the Hanar on the list when they're barely in the game but no Krogen?

This thread is FAIL!

=(

Anyways, anyone ever noticed how in ME2 the Volus were turned into more of a stereotypical goofy comic relief race? I was kinda disappointed at that...=/
As I've said several times, I just took the first races off my head. If I had about 20 more open poll spots I would've added, but as I said. I didnt have place, and I just wrote the first races I could think off.

And insulting my thread dont really have a meaningfull contribution thank you very much.

As I've said, even in the original post, I didnt have enough space. And I just wrote the first one off my head. Please read the original thread for any possible info about things you might wonder before you write, right?

Salarians, Turians and Krogan. Solely because of the genophage. I absolutely love the genophage story and hope to get to take at least a small part in it in ME3.

I chose Salarians as I love their character models and since they're the minds behind the genophage I felt they were the most important to that storyline.

I'm a fan of the lesser used non-humanoid species too (Elcor, Hanar) as I've always thought the idea that every intelligent race in the multiverse/universe should not physically develop almost identically to humanity (that's always been a problem for me with a lot of scifi). xD

Each race makes me happy in some way, though, as I love learning about their histories and culture and whatnot. None of them really feel like filler races for me, which is amazing in my eyes. ^^

I like Turian-beings, mostly because of how their voice sounds.

Asari is on my personal second place.

And third is Quarian. Because of Tali'Zorah and Kal'Reegar. For BioWare: Show Tali's face in ME3, and the first place will belong to this race.

“The geth might get me, but I'm not gonna die from an infection in the middle of a battle. That's just insulting!”

Gotta love Reegar. <3

Hanar!

I think it was that mercenary (not going to type out his name becuase I would butcher it) from the DLC who said that he once got strangeld by a Hanar. Once I heard this I gained so much respect for the jelly fish of the stars. They're also super polite and very nice so it would be wierd to see a Hanar strangle a person...
