He sounded like Sam Worthington to me, anyway he seems ok-ish It was space London that got me interested.

I've just thought...the reapers aren't actually killing people all that quick. in one week that's a bit under half the population of LondonK (which iirc has about 25million people in it). I always thought if the reapers reached earth it would all be over in a day or two.

I just wish they give us the chance to see future Earth before it gets Reaper'd :(

And I do believe he will be a companion, not that you lack in numbers... Of course there is always the probability that someone dies (or died) along the way so...

Well since they already sorta introduced him they might as well put him in the game somehow.

I dunno, just his looks and voice. I don't like him. I cannot pinpoint why though...

I'm not sure why he's so popular. He's a random soldier in Big Ben. Okay granted, the Big Ben part is pretty neat, but I came across dozens of random soldiers in Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2. Is it because he has an English dialect? I don't really want him joining my team, as I have a full roster already.
Now, if BioWare decides to make a game set on Earth during the first week of the Reaper attack and he's the main character, suddenly I find myself much more interested. Otherwise...

Just pointing out, thats an english accent, there's no such thing as a 'british accent'.
That's one of those things that really bugs me.
Noted, considered, and dutifully changed because you're quite right.
Thanks, i didn't mean to come across as a dick, but I've yet to hear a mixture of scottish english irish and welsh in the same accent :L

OT sean bean would make a great character in any videogame
Actually, I thought he was pretty terrible in Oblivion. But then all the voice acting in Oblivion was wank except Terence Stamp.

The trailer started and I thought "Who's this retard?". Generic stock soldier meat-bag. If we have to see him in 3, make it only be as bits of brain exploding into our faces.

He sounded a bit like Sean Bean. I'm not holding my breath on hearing more from this guy.
Now that you mention it, he does sound a bit like Sean Bean...

That would be pretty cool really, though I would be stuck calling his character Boromir no matter what!
Until he dies. That's one of the hollywood rules. I can't name a single movie that Sean Bean's character has survived.

Also we know that he will betray Sheppard, pretty much the law with Sean Bean characters.

What about Troy? One exception.

I've blocked most of that travesty out of my mind. I don't even remember him in it. I would classify it as the inverse of the rule though since pretty much everyone else is killed.

Me and my fiancee came up with a theory. In the show Sharpe, Sean Bean is shot/stabbed/beaten in the leg, the same leg everytime. For every time he survived this he is doomed to die in any other movie. The gods demand it.

I'd love a side mission where you play as the Unknown Soldier on Earth, without squadmates, sabotaging enemy defenses and encampments. I can see how this would fit nicely with Shepard's storyline.
Not given him any thought, but as Buchholz has mentioned I'd agree playing as him in the main storyline over the course of a mission or two would be good. He could be used to take out any AA weapons in an area, or provide some means for the Normandy to enter the atmosphere without being disabled. He's alone and vastly outnumbered, so playing as him could mean more covert gameplay (aka 'stealth), and his dwindling health from the wound...
