Yeah, I'd care. Because I'd want in on the scheme myself. I'd up the ante to 99p per bank account. £21 or so million split equally, that's more like it.
Well, neither of those things were presented in the topic, so I didn't address them. But still, it would have to be an incredibly "good" reason and even then I would care. How I feel about the government using my money is irrelevant when discussing whether or not I care if Joe Schmo hacks into my bank account, because those things are different.hecticpicnic said:What if that person was ding for a good reason, and then you have to think about the taxs that are wasted on things like war or corruption.burningdragoon said:Would I care if someone stole 20 cents from my bank account? Yes. It's not just about the amount of money.
Would I care if someone stole 4 million dollars from an entire populations bank account? Absolutely.
This is a silly 'moral' question.
I shouldn't have but the sarcasm and irony of this post made me laugh my ass off. Well played smashSmashLovesTitanQuest said:Nope, the steal large amounts of money.Kiardras said:Isn't this what governments do? Steal a small amount of money from the accounts of everyone in the country?![]()
But hey, it's not all bad. Those large amounts of money are going toward good things at least. For example shooting brown people in countries nobody cares about.
Historically, this has turned out not to be the case more than once.LadyTiamat said:ok steal less than half a cent and do it multiple times, no one will notice
