Alright ladies and gents, just be aware that some of the topics are inappropriate for minors and should be treated as such. Anything but "lololol fapfapfap" comments will be appreciated.

I'm doing a bit of research and I'm inquiring about masturbation. Yes that thing you secretly feel guilty about in your parents basement.
I'd love to ask you guys a few questions about your own habits and views on it, so let's get straight into it.

1. Are you male or female?
2. How often do you do the deed?
3. Are you in a relationship?
4. If yes do you do it more or less? If no do you do it more than you usually would?
5. Do you believe it improves your performance in the bedroom or not?
6. Focus; does reduced/stopped masturbation decrease or increase your ability to focus on things?
7. Do you believe that is is harmful or healthy? I.E. Reduce chances of certain cancers, mental health, stress or makes you go blind and grow hair on the palms of your hands?
8. Is it different now opposed to when you were younger?

No one has to answer any of these questions, if you wish you may skip questions or not answer any of them.
Also if you feel comfortable enough sharing it, you can tell your own funniest sexual story/disaster, just to keep this thread as entertaining as possible.

Quick note: I know this is a controversial topic and if the mods deem it as inappropriate for the forums by all means take it down.

1. Male
2. I think it averages out to something like 3 times a week.
3. Nope
4. I'd expect to masturbate less in a relationship.
5. Depends on how you do it, if you focus on lasting then that'll probably help in bed.
6. Not that I've noticed. Might decrease my focus if I start denying myself for some reason, just haven't found any reason.
7. Healthy. Seems to get rid of stress somewhat.
8. Did it more often when younger, puberty's like that.

7) Healthy, although it may depend on what you're fapping to.
8) My technique has changed.

Alright, I don't tend to speak about personal shit in an open forum much, but hey. Why not?

1. Male.

2. Generally 2-3 times a day. I freely admit it's a bit of a problem, one I need to try and work out.

3. No. Never have been, not seriously, anyway.

4. As previously said, I've never been in a relationship. I'd imagine I'd do it less though, if my partner and I were sexually active.

5. Inexperienced, so can't say for sure. I doubt it would though.

6. Sometimes it can decrease, I guess. I'll be doing something completely unrelated to sexuality, and I'll feel the urge to masturbate. It's not addiction level though, I can suppress it rather easily. But it does pop up now and again.

7. A bit of both, I think. While it keeps the prostate clean (to my knowledge), the amount of times I do it can have some negative effects. At the moment, they seem to be purely visual. I just hope nothing more serious will occur.

8. I do it more often over the past couple of years, compared to when I was younger - I'd probably do it once a fortnight or so. So I guess just in quantity.

I hope they are adequate enough answers.

1. Are you male or female?
Yes. (male)
2. How often do you do the deed?
Not quite daily.
3. Are you in a relationship?
Nope.
4. If yes do you do it more or less? If no do you do it more than you usually would?
No idea.
5. Do you believe it improves your performance in the bedroom or not?
No idea.
6. Focus; does reduced/stopped masturbation decrease or increase your ability to focus on things?
Not that I've noticed.
7. Do you believe that is is harmful or healthy? I.E. Reduce chances of certain cancers, mental health, stress or makes you go blind and grow hair on the palms of your hands?
It sorta helps me get to sleep, and I need all the help I can get with that.
8. Is it different now opposed to when you were younger?
The difference is not statistically significant.

Oh gosh why did I click this?!
Well I guess I may as well...

1. Male
2. Not at all, I mean if I'm being completely honest, well I did it when I was younger but I must have like 5 years without doing it now.
3. No
4. Well about as much as I do now, by which I mean probably would still not do it.
5. No idea, don't really care either.
6. Not sure, it's been a long time.
7. Never really thought about it.
8. Yes, very.

Hah, this is kind of a weird and complicated topic for me, but I have a compulsion to answer these stupid surveys, kinda stupid of me, would be better if it was anonymous, but I guess I have not revealed my identity so it's technically anonymous.

1. Are you male or female?
Male
2. How often do you do the deed?
Once or twice a week, usually once.
3. Are you in a relationship?
No
4. If yes do you do it more or less? If no do you do it more than you usually would?
I don't know, never had a relationship.
5. Do you believe it improves your performance in the bedroom or not?
I'd imagine so if you worked on duration when you did masturbate.
6. It used to make me lose focus all the time, but age has certainly removed that problem, so not really no.
7. Harmful? Not at all, and I can see why it would be healthy.
8. I do it less now if that's what you mean? Masturbation itself hasn't made any evolution over the years.

1. Are you male or female?
Male

2. How often do you do the deed?
Whenever it suits me. Anywhere from about 0-6 times a week.

3. Are you in a relationship?
No.

4. If yes do you do it more or less? If no do you do it more than you usually would?
Doesn't have any bearing.

5. Do you believe it improves your performance in the bedroom or not?
Not really. At least you know what you like I suppose.

6. Focus; does reduced/stopped masturbation decrease or increase your ability to focus on things?
Decrease.

7. Do you believe that is is harmful or healthy? I.E. Reduce chances of certain cancers, mental health, stress or makes you go blind and grow hair on the palms of your hands?
Perfectly healthy. Humans have psychological drive towards sexual release, taking care of that drive relieves the stress of sexual tension and reduces the impact sexual desire has on my decision making with regards to women: less masturbation = more horny = more likely to make bad decisions in regards to who I consider engaging.
Maintaining a relationship isn't possible at the moment, so gotta relieve that pent up sexual tension somehow, and you can't get herpes from your hand.

8. Is it different now opposed to when you were younger?
Not really.

1. Male, 17, almost 18, in case you were wondering.

2. Never.

3. No.

4. No.

5. Well, I've never been 'in the bedroom' so....

6. No clue, seeing as I've never done it.

7. Everyone has their own vices. Some people smoke, some do drugs, some do the deed. I can't tell you if it's medically healthy; surely there are some doctors you can ask for this question.

8. Again, seeing as I've never indulged in it, no.

Female.

I don't.

Yes.
4. If yes do you do it more or less? If no do you do it more than you usually would?

5. Do you believe it improves your performance in the bedroom or not?
It might be better for knowing what you want but it won't help with your partner.
6. Focus; does reduced/stopped masturbation decrease or increase your ability to focus on things?
N/A
7. Do you believe that is is harmful or healthy? I.E. Reduce chances of certain cancers, mental health, stress or makes you go blind and grow hair on the palms of your hands?

Considering it said `masturbation` and not `mutual masturbation` that's what I took from it, and it seems to be what the OP is asking. And I wasn't the first person to say that, either. *shrug*

i never said mutual masturbation but at least for women they are not excluding from masturbating during sex. in fact it's something i encourage my girlfriends to do since it increases their chance of orgasm.

1. Male

2. More often than I'd like to admit? It'll vary depending on how busy I am on a given week, but since I don't have much going on at the moment I'd say it averages out to about 2-4 times a day.

3. Non.

4. I'd definitely be doing it less if I were in a relationship (assuming this is a relationship wherein I'm fairly regularly getting some anyway, it would be more if it were a long distance thing).

5. It might help with endurance, but otherwise I doubt it.

6. It can be a distraction. It's kind of like this persistent urge lingering in the back of your mind whilst your trying to finish an essay or something that won't go away until you take care of it. Then once you do, it's like coming back down to reality; there's a great analogy Louis CK came up with about how climaxing for a guy is kind of like The Incredible Hulk returning back to Bruce Banner, though I couldn't find a clip of that, so here's a similar bit:

7. No idea, just seems more of an inconvenience than anything else. Like a waste of time that could have been spent doing something a lot more productive. I really do hate my libido to be honest.

8. I swapped hands. I think that's about it really. Also I guess the content used for stimulation has changed pretty drastically, but I'll spare you the details on that front. I didn't start until I was about 14, so I guess it was like I didn't really have a libido up until that point, but since then it's been a pretty regular fixture in my life sadly.

1) Male
2) Ehh, most days, sometimes not for weeks, don't really have a schedule for it y'know
3) Yes! But long distance.
4) Probably masterubate more when I'm ina reltationship
5) Helps to know what you like
6) Stopping removes a form of stress relief and can negatively impact other aspects of my life.
7) It's good for stress management and your ego.
8) Yes, it's a lot bigger now I know more about myself now and I'm not worried about getting caught or anything stupid like that.

3. No
4. I wouldn't know
5. I wouldn't know
6. I wouldn't know
7. Most likely quite healthy. The universe will probably spite me with cancer just to be a dick, like "Hey, use it or lose it, buddy!". If I do die from prostate cancer I want my grave to read "Died from virginity".
8. No
