Edit: For those of you waiting for the 360 version, it is still not ready. I would imagine it is in Microsoft certification. I don't think MS liked the fact that if you used a kill streak you had to reboot your system.

I think MoH is trying to resurrect themselves into CoD or BF:BC. I'm done with "modern" and WW2 FPSs unless it's something different for a change.

well, the biggest glitch going right now is the insurgent freezing (on the ps3 at least) forcing you to Hard Reset your console. it's usually tied to kill streaks, so getting one will usually cause a freeze, but I just froze switching classes in between respawns. hopefully it'll be patched soon, because it's really a giant pain in the ass.

I thought they just updated the PS3 servers the other day? But that sounds like a game glitch, not a server issue... :/

I never heard about beta keys at EA's press conference at E3. The only thing remotely close to that was when they said if you bought a new copy of BF:BC 2 you can get it early. So I hope that there is no keys. If there isn't any I will be on later in the day.

good bits
it works? i guess its ok not allot about it being good but hey i guess that why im not a game crtic.

i will be basing this on bfbc2 in comparison but we also must remember that it is in beta stage.

bad bits
The graphics mainly is ok but running "advanced" on a ATi 5970 i would expect more, blocky textures, just all out weird tree's and the water effects really need to take a page out of Crytec's book.
The sound needs serous improvement firing a m21 though out the many games i have played that utilise this weapon they all have a better and more accurate sound i mean seriously they could put alot more effort into this area of the beta, just lets hope it is fixed by the time for release date.
The game play and objectives are so easy defended and un balanced, if your team is out numbered say 10-9 no way, you have lost, some one just needs to put down explosives and they have won.

overall feel
not very pleasant yes it is ok but it seriously needs cosmetics done to it, the engine is ok no major glitches or problems like that but it just has that eeriness about it. the waepons i have manged to get my hands on so far are ok but they need some improvments i mean the M16 isn't a full auto and the weapons also need some cosmentics to look better i mean MW2 has better looking guns (Small issue i know but it matters to me) graphics need an improvement and it may be helped by dice but it looks very similar.
the guns have minimal recoil, and are a bit wied.

and to finish off it is ok i hope it will be improved by the time the game is released and i hope it does better than CoD and FFS fix and upgrade the graphics and audio EA.

just as a reminder i am not a game critic so dont expect a perfect un-bias review

and if any one who is working on the game at EA please read these comments and take note.

Eh, not interested. It looks like Bad Company 2 without destructible environments and worse graphics. I'm thinking about getting Killzone 2 now that it's a PS3 greatest hit, so I'll have all the FPS that I need.

That's actually good news, because if everything is acting and looking as well as it is, then it just means that it needs some weapon tweaking and final polish.

the biggest problem is the freezing. it renders the beta unplayable. there are little things like aiming that needs to be tweeked, or grenade splash damage, but I've NEVER been able to finish a game on the Insurgent side because I always freeze. I even kill two people, and run out to be killed by the americans, but somehow, (usually in class change) the game will freeze again.

I'll not be playing any longer until they patch this.

I'm actually posting it to the site that gave me the key. They've got a whole thing setup with EA apparently, which is why they got keys early. But, essentially yes, I'm keeping the right people informed =)

That's good. I hate when people never report glitches and just use them to their advantage when the game comes out, eg. CoD: World at War, and others. It's not like they won't be patched. Why can't people just play the game?

Do you have to be a BC 2 Veteran AND preorder the game to get in the Beta? Or do you just have to do one or the other?

you should be able to get the beta if you pre-order MOH, but if you already had BC2, or were a member of the press, then the beta opened a few days earlier.
