I started playing a medic once I crafted the incredibly overpowered crusader's crossbow. Now if I see someone far away who's on fire and doesn't want to die I can do something about it, I can also do pretty respectable damage and it doesn't even replace my medigun.

I find it interesting that the first Meet the Team video for the Heavy was very primitive. It was nothing more than an animation's test showing off the face poser Valve had.

Fast forward to Meet the Spy and you have a several minute video that actually has a coherent story and miniature narrative.

One would hope that Meet the Medic is an even better video than Meet the Spy.

I tried to add a poll and also I am excited because the medic is my fav class, being a medic is exciting because alot of people count on you and I like being respected!

Glad there are people in the game like you. I refuse to play the medic, as I play games to escape my life, and I'm not going to work inside of game.

It's actually really fun, Medic in TF2 is great!

Not as fun as sniper, though. Watching the puny Medic after I one-shot his beloved Heavy... priceless XD

Not as funny as seeing the heavy without a medic staring at 3 soldiers and 4 demos.

But in other news, words cannot describe my excitement. I think if they don't at least release a date for it soon...I might just go out of my mind. This whole bird teaser thing is only a ruse to build up the suspense and make us more excited about it, while making us forget just how long it's taken them to put it out...and by God is it working.

I really can't imagine what the update will contain for the Medic. Maybe a melee weapon that crits all the time because they might as well.
