Yo, just wondering how many of you good people have actually got a boyfriend/girlfriend from meeting them in a club. Because its a lot of money and bother, and it just doesn't seem to happen very often around here, but there is a public consensus thats says it definitely does.

I'm making my own consensus!

I met mine at university. However, we hooked up in a pub.
I always get with friends though.

It's been years since clubs and bars were a dating scene, I think. It's mostly a hook-up party now. No one there's looking for a relationship.

The closest Club is about 20 miles from where I live and even then I would need an ID showing that I'm 21 just go get in and I'm not getting that legally for another 6 years.

I used to think I wouldn't mind hooking up with someone at a club. But after playing Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines and watching the Blade movies, I am now convinced that there's like a 30% chance that whoever I might meet at the club might be a vampire. And while vampires can be hot, if you think about it they're actually just smart zombies, and so hooking up with them is pretty gross. You know, like in Twilight.

So what I'm saying is, I'm alone, and afraid of clubbing vampires. And any one of you geniuses who points out that the two things may be connected in some way that doesn't make me look cool can STFU.

I hope this helps you reach a concensus. And avoid vampires.

I don't really do that well in clubs, mainly because I don't like to yell over the music just so the girl can hear me. I find that I have to repeat myself way too much.

Most of the girls I have met have been through work, which has pretty much been retail where girls will just walk in. Also, flirting is an excellent way to sell things. :)

I usually go after waitresses here in the states. I don't think I've ever once picked up a girl from a bar or club. When I sometimes go to one of those places, I usually bring a DATE.

I remember this one time I went out to a bar by myself. This woman came up and ordered a drink and made this big show of shuffling through her purse. When the bartender set the drink down and asked for his money she said she couldn't find her cash/card. Then she looked at me with puppy dog eyes and I was like "Yeah. That's a bummer." And drank my drink : )

She stormed off real mad. You were getting over the hill honey. I love watching women find out their looks will eventually fail at carrying them through life.

Screw that, I woulda said "Yeah, I'll pay for it," and then, when she goes to drink it, say "Wait a minute, that's MY drink... give it back!"

Haha, not quite old enough to go clubbing, and I'm not someone who would on a regular basis. And I would never do so without a date.
