mmm well to everyone saying laptop bag, well I hate carting mine around when I'm "off duty" because it's full of tools, CDs/DVDs, jump drives, cables, connectors, adaptors, cable-ties, and other crap I need for my job, it weights a ton without any personal stuff in it.

And given I walk with a cane, weight is a real issue for me, as I have to carry it with only one hand and keep my balance.

Backpacks are generally too big, I mainly look on purses as something big enough to stick my phone, my pills, my epi-pen, my glasses case (damn those are pain! after replacing the lenses twice due to them getting scratched in my jacket I just put up with them), my keys, my smokes, and wallet, because I frankly hate having things in my pockets; I'm always worried I'm going to drop something.

I guess a messenger bag or satchel works, but you just get another type of look, rather then being looked at like your gay, you're at like your a hipster douche.

If you just HAVE to carry around enough stuff to need a purse, get yourself a small backpack or get yourself a jacket with lots of deep pockets.

Yes, I wish man bags were acceptable. I have a bad back and can't sit down with my wallet in my back pocket or else I have a sore back later so I really wish I had a bag of some sort to carry that in as opposed to pulling it out and putting it in my front pocket when I have to sit down.

uh nope...

i have kacki shorts on if anything, which has shit tons of pockets, which i prefer it more spread out and in nice pockets.

most of the time i have 4 things

keys
wallet
phone
itouch

otherwise i still have plenty of room in my pockets, and even then ill just carry it in a backpack or something if i need to bring it along.

a purse is a girls fashion statement for a backpack.

Because men aren't born with the physical proficiency of carrying a purse.

Who cares what people think?

One: I carry a tote bag whenever I need to take my note pad/writing utensils with me. Aside from that it's all pockets.

Two: Funny thing, purses and high heels were initially for men.

And up until about 150 years ago it was rather common to see men walking arm in arm with each other, even military officers. Other then an interesting fact, doesn't mean much in today's world.

I wouldn't want to carry enough stuff to need a purse. At most, all I ever end up carrying around is a book in the event that reality tries to bore me to death like it usually does.

Too cumbersome. I really prefer backpacks, they carry more stuff and leave your hands and arms free to do manly things... like fire a rifle.

...but I really wouldn't care either way if "manbags" became socially acceptable. I just wouldn't use 'em.

nope, I just put my wallet, keys and phone in me pockets. Anymore and i just get my small backpack. Kinda makes me happy that i only bring the minimum with me. In some kind of austere pride way.

not necesarily a purse, but a satchel type bag would be really nice to have, except for the fact that it'd resemble a purse to people, and men with purses is looked down upon in our society

*cough* get a satchel *cough*.

Anyways, I prefer a coat and pants with like 500 pockets in them. Ive got a coat with upwards of 20 pockets in various areas, Inside, outside, and not just on the chest. Theres a few in the arms and shoulders. Held alotta snacks.
