I'm Chinese...

And I say that as though it should be justification enough. Chinese guys, for the most part, just cannot do beards. I do stubble OK, since I get five-o'clock shadow at midday and it isn't wholly atrocious. So I just try to keep it that way. Doesn't matter, though, since I'm too lazy to shave more than once a week. Hell, I took my passport photo after having not shaved for more than a week and a half and I looked like a freakin' triad... -_-
Just a question, is it true that facial hair generally doesnt grow much at all for Chinese people?

It never stops growing. Never. Every shave is made meaningless each morning, further dropping my morale. I feel numb, not even the pain matters.

Never stops.

Why is there no option for "beard + bald" or "man-scaped"?

WAAAAAH! I'm being oppressed!

[sub]No, seriously, could I have a couple ladies oppress me? With bacon?[/sub]

OT: Mach 3 razor, cold water, shaving cream.

I shave once a week, razor, warm water

I have a bit of a messy beard. I want to grow a goatee, but all I can seem to get is a mustache and chin strap.

I don't shave, instead I trim.

I use some hair clippers and cut my facial hair really short every week or so (Or just before a date) which I find preferable to shaving because I look way too young without facial hair and it also skips right past the annoying stage when it's growing back when it's all itchy and prickly.

Nope. I need to start, but I generally don't. And even when I do start shaving I'm only going to be shaving certain areas.

Why is there no option for women here?

I shave about twice a week usually. I don't like shaving every day, but I have to take it before it gets too bad. During my busy weeks I don't shave though. I always have a midterm beard and a final beard Nothing beats the satisfaction of getting rid of that.

Also I use an electric thing with 5 rows of different kinds of blades because normal machines usually wont work.

Shaving is such a god-damn pain, but yes, I do it. Usually every Friday/Wednesday, or Friday only if I work and have no social interaction.

Just break out the hair clippers out every now and again to keep the beard tidy. Margaret Thatcher has a fear of beards you see, and one day I hope to scare her with it.

I shave every four or five days, unless I've got some I need to be, then I'll shave properly. I detest shaving, but I detest having more a few days of growth on my face even more...

All the billions they spend on trying to find a cure for baldness you'd think they'd work out how to induce it on your face...

I'm very fickle with appearance, so I'm constantly growing a beard or lopping one off. At the moment trying shaving every day to see how that turns out

I respect the men only thing and won't ruin the poll with my histrionics, sexism, troll powers or leg shaving antics.

I will, however, dump this:

There are only a few select males that look awesome with a beard.

Most look scruffy, unkempt or danger close.

I have severe issues with beards that come with odd hats or colourful t-shirts (So sorry, man from Mojang).

I find beards to be very, very sexy when they embody the act of taming the inner beast and express pride in looking and smelling good. In my books, a beard that shows its being looked after is one of the most manly things I can think of, right after the cock n balls combo. And that one is hilarious and awe-inspiring at the same time. Think about it. Who in their right mind would come up with such a thing?

I have to shave every couple of days or it gets painful. I can only stand hair on my chin, if I try to grow it anywhere else my skin gets very red & irritated. Gotta love sensitive skin. I shaved my goatee completely off one time, my chin felt so cold & naked & alone.

Now that I get to thinking about it, I'm going to let it grow long enough that it can be braided or something like that.

Erryday. I have a goatee sans mustache, but other than that, everything is gone before work every morning.

Once a week or so. When I'm feeling lazy it's about once in two weeks, when I feel less lazy it's two times a week. I personally prefer a 1-3 day old beard - just enough so I can use it to scratch my hand on it. I use a razor because...meh - I have one. I might try a machine at some point.

I have had a heavy beard since I was a Sophomore in high school. I stopped having any feelings about facial hair being "manly" when I realized that I was going to need to shave regularly for the REST OF MY LIFE. It got real old real quickly being the only one in my group in school who had to shave. Having "5 o'clock shadow" at the age of 15 or 16 was annoying as hell.
Same here. Sort of. I started shaving when I was 14 but my beard didn't really grow that fast - shaving about every few days was enough (once-twice a week) in the beginning, then I just started going two-three times a week...I don't know at which point but it was every two weeks at school with time off during the weekend, I know that by 18 I could very well grow a beard if I wanted to while a lot of others could barely qualify for a goatee and/or sideburns and that's if they didn't shave for a couple of weeks or so.

I've been known to let my goatee swing freely from time to time.

Feels good, man. Hope the picture isn't gigantic.

I generally save the other areas once a week or so.

I have a beard, which gets trimmed when it becomes to unruly. I stopped wet shaving because razor blades are absurdly expensive and there's no way you'd get me to use a cut-throat. Why would any sane man actually run such a blade across their skin!?
