Everyone is entitled to their honest opinion. And while I respect yours please do not condemn others for theirs.FRicanKrazy said:There's a lot of insensitive statements being said in this thread. Some really ignorant. The passing of MJ and his memorial was the sending off of a great humanitarian. Regardless of what other personal traits are in jeopardy, people should be aware that we lost of one the world's greatest humanitarians.

If artists want to pay a tribute to Jackson, they should have done an album together with the proceeds going to charity or his children. But this is just shameless. So no, I didn't watch it.
There is a way to respectfully state a disapproving opinionated statement, and then there are statements with blatant disrespect in this post. I'm condemning the statements with minimal effort and thought placed behind them, and bringing attention to the fact that there are actual facts and statistics to MJ's humanitarian acts. A lot of them actually.MelziGurl said:Everyone is entitled to their honest opinion. I don't really care if they are humanitarian or not, that does not mean they deserve respect simply because they have passed on. I didn't have enough respect for the man to get up at 3am in the morning to watch be paraded around a city in his coffin simply because he was a great artist and humanitarian. I had respect and appreciation for his music and the things he did for sick children but as a man I lost a lot of respect for him. I'm not about to hand it to him simply because he is laying in his coffin. You earn respect, even when your dead, you don't get it handed to you regardless of the situation. It is sad what happened to Michael Jackson, but to condemn others simply because they are being honest with themselves is just frustrating. Call it cold, but that's how I feel. You don't like it? That's okay, you don't have to but don't condemn me for it simply because it's not how you feel.FRicanKrazy said:There is a way to respectfully state a disapproving opinionated statement, and then there are statements with blatant disrespect in this post.
