Poll: Microsoft or Apple

I really enjoy both of them such as the Ipad from Apple and the PC and Work Offices from Microsoft. Although I don't like the browser on Apple and I don't like the Xbox systems so I have to go to Microsoft.

They're both pretty evil Microsoft are the most evil I'd say. If I have to choose I'll go Microsoft because out of the two I use Microsoft products. I have an iPod but I'd be happy with a generic MP3 player, it was a gift.

Are we talking about the companies or the products made by said companies? If it's the choice over which is less "evil" I'd say Apple, if the choice is over products I'd say Microsoft.

I just can't justify Apple's giant price tags.

Yup, though it was Mac vs PC. This now incorporates all products from each company like the ipod and zune.

Oh well in that case gotta say Apple. iPods are way better than Zune

Microsoft, if only because I use more of their products. The only Apple product I use is iTunes. And Windows 7, Xbox 360 etc. trumps iTunes.

OT: Microsoft. They pull some shady shit, but I consider Apple to be anti-consumer. That's far worse to me.

But of the two, I choose Microsoft.
The Apple OS is the most expensive OS ever, considering the horrendously overpriced hardware required, if you are going to use it legally, i.e. not Hackingtosh.
A generic MP3 Player is as good, if not better, than an iPod.
Also, the iPhone and iPad are as anti-consumer as it gets.

I'm fairly interested in the Microsoft Surface. Seems good. And, for all the shit that Windows 8 gets, the tablet-style layout is great for touch-screens, and if you don't like it, you can always switch over to the classic desktop layout.
