See I find anything but skim milk to be too thick and gooey and it makes me think it came from a different part of the anatomy. As for flavors, well I don't mix fruit or chocolate with my butter either.
I'm trying to decide whether the milk in your area is abnormally thick, or if my... well, you know, is.

Both are horrifying prospects.
I'd be more worried about yourself, palbert. I haven't had thick gooey milk in decades. When was the last time you gagged some down? Yesterday? Breakfast this morning?!

I wanted chocolate milk so bad last night but had no syrup. I'm getting some after work today and satisfying that craving.

Chocolate milk is terrible. You want something chocolate flavoured? Eat chocolate. Everything else choc-flavoured is a watered-down imitation of real choclate, and that includes ice-cream.

I vote vanilla, even though I only drink pure unflavoured milk.

Wait, why is syrup needed for chocolate milk? I have never heard of people using syrup for it before, let alone it being a requirement! What atheist witchcraft are you practising??

...Are you serious?

That's how, like... 95% of people get chocolate milk.

Arghh...these treacherous snake oils?...are they your main sauce source of cocoa-worship? Have ye no access to powders and pre-mixed chocolate milk? Such ungodly methods, truly the evils of modern American science!

Uhhhh right.. well someone else has already answered so I'll just deal with loose ends.

Yes we have powders. I prefer syrup because most powders don't dissolve well and the one I used to enjoyed as a child changed their formula. You can fucking taste the fake sugar in that brand now. Also, I like my chocolate milk freshly made. I have days where I prefer a stronger chocolate flavor and others where I prefer a weaker chocolate flavor. By making my own I can control all of that. And finally! I see no reason to buy two separate milk types. I have roommates so fridge space is at a premium.

I didn't mean any offense with it, was trying to be lighthearted, sorry. Am not good at this at all.

I assumed as much. But this is the milk thread so I figured that I would elaborate since it is on topic.

I find most chocolate isn't chocolate enough. I personally find I'm not too fond of chocolate on its own, but with chocolate milk, well, I prefer it to basically be chocolate syrup with some milk in it.

Plus its a drink, so ya know, different substance.

Ah Okie's, sorry, think maybe I had a moment of panic that my words came across in a not so positive, perhaps even insulting way. With internet communication the way it can be. Not usually that umm sensitive or weird. Been a tricksy day. :)

You might need new internet circles then to give your psyche a break. LOL. How can anyone take a discussion about milk that seriously?

The cows...the goats...the pigeons (no really, they do.. imagine choc-pigeon shake!)...they may be a little less understanding than most, assuming they can utilise the internet and ethics, it is not like we have specie's identification...yet. But to be honest, am not identifiably a part of any circle, it is more outsider status perhaps, maybe a self-doubting thing that makes me overly cautious of being misinterpreted in a sort of sometimes confusing environment? Maybe definitely a personal problem. Have waffled too much already!

Chocolate milk. I don't have that big a problem with regular milk. I can chug it with very little problem. Chocolate milk just tastes better. When done right, of course. When I drink chocolate milk, I enjoy it more rather than just put it down for the calcium.

[small]Although I wouldn't be opposed to trying out that last kind of milk.[/small]

[small]God, I am desperate.[/small]

Banana is the best flavour of milk. End of.
I can't remember, is low content being enforced outside of Wild Wild West? Is this enough?
Whatever! I'm going back to WWW.
