I'm really at a loss as to which game to buy. Beyond Good and Evil is for the PC, Mirrors Edge is for the 360.

Beyond good and evil, definitely, besides it's dirt cheap now, 5$ on gamersgate, it's a crime not to play this excellent game at that price...

BG&E.
They're both great games, but BG&E lasted me longer, had me more immersed, and has an epic soundtrack.

Beyond Good and Evil is a better AND cheaper game. Go get it.

Though it will make you tear your hair out at Ubisoft since they've cancelled BG&E2

BG&E for me; more cartoonish, but a more in-depth game with more activities, more gameplay and a far more forgiving difficulty curve.

You should be able to get Beyond Good and Evil a hell of a lot cheaper than Mirror's Edge, which leaves you money to spend on other things.
Unless Mirror's Edge has depreciated worse than I thought?

Beyond Good & Evil, the game is great and you'll also get a lot more playtime, Mirror's Edge is a decent game as well and I guess it really comes down to what you like more, still I'd get Beyond Good & Evil, plus it's on steam now for only 2,49?

Beyond Good & Evil has some truly phenomenal storytelling, not to mention the incredible use of pacing.

No question.

Obviously Beyond Good and Evil. Bought it for 130 PLN when it came out (about $50 at the time) and then for $5 when it was on sale on Steam, only because my CDs got destroyed and I couldn't play the game anymore.

It was a lot more fun than the glimmering, flashing eye-ripping Mirror's Edge. Not saying that it's a bad game, but a rather shallow one.

Beyond Good & EEEEEVIL - it's cheaper and more varied. And characters are deeper. But there's less parkour than in Mirror's Edge.

Buy them both. Mirror's Edge is 10 bucks, you can't afford /not/ to buy it.

beyond good and evil. it sucks you in like a black hole, made of candy though, so its a good black hole. my favourite part:

*Giant Man-Eating worm with two heads come out of ground and tries to eat you*
"quick, take a photo of it!"

Seriously, get you priority's right.

anyway, in this game, there is alot of just wandering around, taking photos, enoying the scenery. nothing comes out of the blue (as in, jumps out in front of you, there are still surprises in the plot), and you can just wander around. there isn't really all that much combat, and they sort of throw the first mission at you, but its fun.
