New spells and reworked mechanics for Magi. Each spec has a remotely unique mechanic to work with. Arcane has a charge system and Fire has a build up crit system, worked from Hotstreak. I can't go indepth, as I only got my mage to 83 and even then only tried Fire. But all classes have more unique specializations nowadays. Warlocks have the most interesting changes in my opinion. Enough to be game altering for them. Warriors also have been drastically changed.Saltyk said:My opinion, is that I have no desire to play it again. I'm kinda tempted by Guild Wars Two as I am hearing good things...
Oh, but, anyway, if you WANT to play it, buy it, and play it. Simple as that. What do you want to do?
But could they really have changed mages that much? I mean, I recall Arcane in Cata was so bloody easy. Three buttons and you could pull 10K DPs without a strain on your mana regardless of the situation, and even with less than stellar gear.
Haha yep, piracy is totally viable. If you're interested, there's a free 14 day trial on Eve's website. A player can invite you to a 21 day trial too.LetalisK said:Or I could let you mine it yourself and then just, you know, shoot you.Wayneguard said:You could always come mine with me in EVE![]()
[small](Kidding, I've never played EVE, for some reason I think that's one of the things you can do)[/small]
One possibility about why someone would want to return to WoW is that it remains a good all around MMO. It's story isn't as good as TOR, but it has better leveling and end-game. It's combat isn't as good as TERAs, but its got a far superior questing system, being far less grindy. While its combat is also somewhat inferior to LoTR and D&D, its end-game still remains the most polished of the MMOs, although it is not exactly universally liked.Eddie the head said:Why would you? If you like story telling SWTOR is a better game. If you like a new combat system then Tera would be better. If you like PVP then there is GW2 and a newer questing system. If you miss the combat then there is D&D online or LoTR online. Spare the social aspect witch might be enough I don't know how many friends do you have in the game? For Gameplay and story reasons I can't think of a good reason, for social reasons if you have a lot of friends yeah go back.
Dude, dude, you can totes go do lowbie zones, because your level gets scaled down! Endgame begins at level 1!Midgeamoo said:Also to the people yelling guild wars 2:

W-where did Blizzard even come with this?
I'm not silly enough to deny that there's a definite influence there; but at the end of the day, the pandaren at least existed and weren't a complete tack-on.SecretNegative said:That argument has been defuted several times, but this time I'm actually bothered to look up my response to this: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/7.385284-Blizzard-Reveals-Mists-of-Pandaria-Cinematic-Trailer?page=2#15312529JEBWrench said:In 2002 when they released Warcraft 3.Misterian said:World of Warcraft meets Kung-Fu Panda?

In fact, (this is not directed to you, by the way) I love how people defend Blizzard so much they're defending the Pandarens by claiming "they were a large part of Warcraft 3", a game they never played.
Where were the Pandaren in Warcraft 3? I honestly don't remember ever seeing them and warcraft 3 was one of my favourite games at the time.JEBWrench said:In 2002 when they released Warcraft 3.Misterian said:World of Warcraft meets Kung-Fu Panda?

DONT DO IT!Caedus said:So here it is: I wasn't really interested by WoW anymore(having played TOR for a while and thinking that I'd never get past the lack of voice-over and decisions in WoW).
Now though, I've seen some stuff and I kind of want to start playing again, especially with the expansion that would allow me to "start anew" on my main.
I haven't played the beta but from what I've seen, it looks like it's a nice expansion (and I did try the new mage gameplay for a bit on a friend's account and decided it was awesome).
So, should I or should I not pay for my subscription again?
They're creeps in The Frozen Throne. Also, there's the Founding of Durotar bonus campaign, where Chen Stormstout is one of the playable characters.lotr rocks 0 said:Where were the Pandaren in Warcraft 3?
