Transformers: Universe. I love transformers as a genre and a MMO for it sounds great.

I'm quite looking forward to Guild Wars 2, moreso than I expected considering I never played the first game and only started looking into it a couple months ago. But the more I read and see, the more I like it. GW2 seems to be genuinely trying to add new elements and mechanics to the genre and allow for a far more fluid experience.

I played a lot of WoW in my day so the other MMOs feel a little too copy-paste for my liking, although I'll probably check out some of The Old Republic to play with friends.

I'm looking forward to Star Wars: The Old Republic and I will get it eventually. But I'm really looking forward to Guild Wars 2 and mostly want that over any other MMO.

secret world and star wars the old republic. If I had to pick from those two I'd go with the secret world because it's less mainstream (I feel like such a hipster saying that) but they both look great.

Based on what I've seen, it seems like there will be four main MMOs coming out in 2012:
Star Wars: The Old Republic
Guild Wars 2
The Secret World
TERA Online (also known as The Exiled Realm of Arborea)
No mention of FireFall? I am disappoint, OP. Also another good looking one is WildStar:

I've also got an interesting article on another one called "End of Nations". Looks like 2012 will be MMO galore.

MMOs in general suck hardcore and I find it impossible to get "pumped up" for any of them. Nonetheless, I may still give Guild Wars 2 a shot. It is making some big promises to shake up an otherwise absolutely mind numbing genre of games(MMOs). Let us see if they can do it. I did enjoy Guild Wars.

guild wars 2 a game.crafted out of pure love of games AND art if Ever there was one. Crafted being the key word, not developed, not built..but crafted with love , care and attention. Plus playing GW1 and paying painstakingly close attention to the sequal crafting gor the past 5years hasgot me invested even before its release.

Guild Wars 2 all the way, looks amazing.

TERA is another one I may try though im a bit put off by the fact that the source code for the game was stolen from NCsoft and im a bit of an NCsoft fanboy.

SWTOR for me, I've waited years for it and I'm so happy its finally out, but I currently have no gaming rig to play it on, always the way eh?

I've gotta admit I've been interested in GW2 as well though and I probably will give that a go when it is released, depends on how many friends I can get to try it with me as they're all currently absorbed with SWTOR.

The Secret World looks awesome, it's the only one I'm considering leaving Rift for. The gameplay looks good, and the cinematic trailers are just brilliant. I always wanted to play as a guy who could kill a demon while taking a slash.

I'm going for Guild Wars 2 because first and foremost, there's no recurring fees and second, because of it's Dynamic Events System, which means that my actions will have an effect on the game world to some extent for a change, as opposed to that tired old start-finish-reset-with-blocks-of-text quest model that every other game uses and which I strongly suspect The Old Republic uses as well, despite trying to hide it behind it's Mass Effect-style branching dialogue.

I'll prob end up trying all of them, getting ToR soonish and I've been following the Secret World for a while. But its GW2 all the way for me, I loved the first one and I've been very pleased with what I've seen in videos and on the website.

Can't wait to make an Asura Warrior.

I've been playing TOR to a ridiculous extent the past couple of days, so, yeah, that.

The Secret World and Guild Wars 2 look pretty good, but they'd have to be really, REALLY, good to win me over from TOR.

TOR is literally the most polished MMO I've seen on original release. The only thing Bioware needs to fix is the loading ques. It's just gotten released but if I try to log on at 8 or 9pm I have to wait 10 minutes to get on.

I'm done with MMOs designed for brainless retards, mice-on-a-wheel, kids and grannies. I'm only looking forward to The Secret World, and while I can respect what Guild Wars 2 is trying to do, it's not nearly as feature-heavy or developed/invested as TSW, and additionally I can't stand another fantasy themed MMORPG.

SWToR and TERA (especially TERA) can go die in a fire.
What do you mean by that?
