oh, i've looked in GW2, i have friends that will play it thus i've had it rammed down my throat, i still don't care.

but to clarify a bit, non of the races save the Char look interesting form ether a design (TWO flavors of human is really weak) or back story perspective, the setting for the world seems rather meh, but then just skipping a head 250 years and saying 'some shit went down' isn't gonna help some one get into things, when they didn't care before.

they seem to be heading in the right direction combat wise, but i've seen no video to back it up, and combat at this point, IS the most important thing, since that what I'm going to be doing the most of. which is what completely killed my interest in ToR, it being more of the same dull setup (seirusly its possible to have a 'game with story' and have an engaging combat system >.< )
Hey hey, check out this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1A_347yaKk

Combat involves a limit of 10 skills (not including profession specific abilities), dodging and moving, positioning, and so on. Really, it looks like a ton of fun. There's quite a few videos, though most of them are being played by players who have never played the game before, since all the gameplay takes place at convention demos.

PlanetSide 2.

The first one was about 10 years ahead of it's time. There were so many factors working against it back then. SoE's general ineptitude, the limitations of the tech at the time, the rise of WoW... etc.

Sooner or later, MMOFPS will be a genre.

I'll be trying Guild Wars 2, Firefall and Star Wars: The Old Republic next year. That is also the order in which I have the most anticipation for.

hmm, yes it dose look pretty good, little boring from my end, but then, watching some one else have fun usually is XD.
actually the set up reminds me of DC Universe far as the skill set up goes (DCUO allows 6 due to PS3 controller limits) and that's good, i like DCUO. still not going to play it for reasons i already mentioned, but least combat looks good.

I might have been looking forward to WoW's upcoming Mists of Pandaren if it actually had what it takes to remove the suck from WoW's infinity of grinding and gear scrubs refusing you entry because you didn't have the exact-or-more gear score they demand.

Sadly, and I know this for a fact, MoP is going to be SPAMMED by Kung Fu Panda fantards because OMG PANDAREN MONKS.

SW:TOR because I love WoW, but hate the reference fest it has become, so Wow + Star Wars lore = one happy camper
