I've been playing a lot of agi carry lately (Heroes of Newerth) but when it comes down to it playing a tank makes me the happiest. My all time favorite remains Armadon/Bristleback. Harass and annoy the enemy until they initiate on you, then shake it off and keep going as your team appears from the sides. Gotta love it! I especially love how people assume no skill is involved - the line between aggression and suicide is pretty thin, regardless your hp total.
I used to play a lot of int back in my dota days but I just can't support anymore. Mad props to the folks who buy the wards and do the ganking, but I feel the need to farm and maintain a lategame presence.

For it is generally tank and especially initiator tanks. Messing up opponents with a bunch of cc is more in line with my platstyle than actually having to do tons of damage

Usually I'm an agility character for Dota 2. I started off using sniper but got bored of him. Then I switched to a rotation of Lina and Invoker until I discovered Shadow Fiend nows he's all I play, Requiem of the Souls ftw.

Probably casters, as my preferred role is support. Though support is in a sad state in LoL at the moment.

IMO support was an afterthought in the original design of the game. When it became essential to the meta they struggled to fit it into the game. I just came back from a long hiatus and it seems to be doing better than it did back in Season 1.RobfromtheGulag said:

I play AD carries which I enjoy the most and sometimes AP carries if I feel in the mood.

mages are always fun, though my favorite will always be tanks, shen and leona are especially fun to play with, run in, taunt/stun everybody in sight, then leave with only 100 left.

Well I only play LoL so here we go:
Mages are my favourite, preferably one with a teleport of some kind. Katarina is one of my favourites, Zyra is climbing up the list just because she can be super tricky and set up seeds in a bush while "running" and then drop full combo on someone's face when they chase you.
Like when I "failed" a jungle gank on Lee Sin when I knew he was taking Blue Buff. I thought I wouldn't kill him in one burst and he'd out DPS me easily so I was sneaky and dropped two seeds in river by Blue Buff beforehand, dropped a combo on his face and as expected I didn't kill him and he was all "oh free kill"
I ran back to river, set off my seeds and lolololol he just gets destroyed by two Thorn Spitters that he didn't bother to take into consideration.
I think the new Champion Diana is going to be fun, she's supposed to be a jungler accoridng to Riot but everyone in the beta says she works better as a mid so woo new mids are always fun to me cuz that's my favourite lane. I think she's the only person with such weird Skillshots as well.
I love Irelia and Riven solotop but I am so bad at Riven it's not even funny. My Irelia is decent at least. Though I always get outharassed no matter who i'm against, must be something to do with my playstyle I think.
Oh and I love, love, love, love ,love love Support Sona. Her damage is ridiculous, her ult is fucking amazing and I think an Ashe/Sona lane is pretty unbeatable when you both hit 6. Chain stuns haters...
I loathe Soraka though, she can't do enough for my liking. Two heals and a silence that are on ridiculous cooldowns? Lackluster damage output? It's like they want me to watch my carry die after I drop my CDs on them.
Sona on the other hand can just jump in, drop her ridiculous damage Q + double damage Power Chord, heal, use Exhaust on the other carry then get dunked double kill.

I first played mid champions in LoL, so mid kinda became my best spot. I love doing pretty much everything though, but AD Carry is probably my least favourite. If I'm in bot lane I'd rather be supporting with Taric. Jungling with Maokai is also fun.
