Poll: Modern Warfare 3: The Verdict

After looking around pretty much every critic review of Modern Warfare 3 it dawned on me that either Activision had successfully paid them all off, or that Modern Warfare 3 is actually a good game.

Well...I really couldn't care less about critic reviews, except those of the AngryJoeShow but anyway I want to know what you thought of Modern Warfare 3. There generally seem to be two groups of opinions: Rehashed MW2 Clone or Best Call of Duty Ever - Lives up to the hype.

I want to know what you think of it before I buy it.

never played it but looks the same as MW2 and I only played BLOPS which was really disappointing.

Sorry for posting the thread 5 times -_-. It gave me an error about the 'Captcha' and I kept re-entering it, unknowing that I posted it so many times. Anyway thanks for your opinions. I'm going to get Skyrim first, I might rent MW3 then buy it.

I'll say what I always say: I'll buy it for the campaign, which is find exhilarating and well made. For multiplayer, I go to BF3.

Of the 1 game of split screen I've played, yeah I think it's pretty good I guess. Not a lot seems new, though.

I only played the SP and it was a lot of fun, as always, couldn't care less about the MP.

Is the Campaign and Spec Ops a redeeming factor? I was interested in playing the Campaign just to see what happens.

Played single player, wasnt nothing new or special.
But im one of the people who gets deja vu everytime a new cod comes out, sure it looks different, but its hard to tell them apart sometimes.
And i really wouldnt be surprised if i get lots of angry messages for this, but MW3 isnt anything special and its the 4th cod in a row thats ive heard called the best game ever, the best selling game ever and stuff like that, none of which is true.

Now im going back to arkham city.

I enjoyed the campaign (although it was short), but that's about it. The spec ops aren't too bad but get boring quite fast. I found the new multiplayer game modes quite interesting, mainly the new 'Kill confirmed' mode.

However, the rest of the multiplayer was awfull. The lag is ridiculous, bullets follow you around corners and people appear out of thin air. It can take quite a while to get into a game due to servers timing out or kicking people from games for no reason. Also the voice chat is just terrible, distorted and choppy even compared to MW2.
I expected it to have a few problems upon release but this is ridiculous.
(Just my opinion)

Good for huge fans of the series, but I'm going to trade it in for the new Assasins Creed.
