Well i'm usually quite happy and it's difficult to upset me but only because after Firefly was canceled i was so disappointed that i doubt it is possible that anything can make me feel any worse.

Neither. I'm a realist, and I like to think that I'm very objective. And as far as the famed "pessimist mug" goes, it's not half full - it's twice as large as it needs to be. Twice as volumous, actually. I tend to set realistic, attainable goals for myself, but I think my friends dislike this quality in me, because I sometimes give them objective opinions on matters when they might have hoped for encouragement or the likes of it.

I would assume that you've never heard the phrase "A pessimist is what an optimist calls a realist"? So in some people's minds, realism and pessimism are one and the same. That's not what I think, though.
