I play lawfull good, i just find it really difficult to be a dick when given the choice in games. Even when it's probably not how i would choose if the situation was real. end of MEII comes to mind...
So... you're an objectivist sort of hero.likalaruku said:Neutral: I do all the good deeds & none of the evil ones, but I also ransack houses & steal anything not bolted down.
Exactly, thus forcing everyone to play as a good guy who steals everything so you can get enough money for good weapons and can do quests.SonicWaffle said:I think questing is another reason I tend to play the good guy. If someone comes up to you and asks for help, your standard baddie response is "Go screw yourself with a turnip", which may well cause you to lose the quest. By extension, you lose XP and loot. I made this mistake a couple of times in Dragon Age when I was still trying to be bad; I'd be sarcastic or rude when people asked for help, so they'd tell me to get lost.Veldt Falsetto said:I chose neutral but mainly because there is no difference in whatever "class" you are apart from if you're pure good, you can't afford anything, if you're neutral or evil, you can steal everything and sell it...personally I'd love to be a travelling rogue who is motivated by money but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO no one wants to ask me to do quests, I have to run around town asking each individual person if they want me to do anything for them, hmph why won't people come find me and ask me to do something interesting, NO I DON'T WANNA GO LOOK FOR YOUR HUSBAND DO IT YOURSELF!
Quests must be particularly galling for those who want to play an evil character, because about 80-90% of the time they involve helping someone. Sure, you can point and laugh when they announce that goblins stole their children, but it does mean you get none of the benefits that rescuing the kids would bring. The game is, in a way, forcing you to do good deeds.
That sort of behaviour is almost hard-wired into me by games as Zelda and Final Fantasy.TheDoctor455 said:So... you're an objectivist sort of hero.likalaruku said:Neutral: I do all the good deeds & none of the evil ones, but I also ransack houses & steal anything not bolted down.
Hmm.... Actually... stealing whatever isn't nailed down is the ONLY common trait of any of my characters. They all tend to be pretty diverse.
Yeah, i played the ME1 and it was just likeDead Raen said:I try to be as neutral as I can. When it comes down to it, the good extreme is just as bad as the evil extreme.
Fallou 3's moral choice system is a little underdeveloped but it works well.
Though in ME2 I tend to go more paragon because the system isn't really good or evil in that game; It's more like "normal" and "dickhead".
For me it was Oblivion and Fallout 3.Ranorak said:That sort of behaviour is almost hard-wired into me by games as Zelda and Final Fantasy.TheDoctor455 said:So... you're an objectivist sort of hero.likalaruku said:Neutral: I do all the good deeds & none of the evil ones, but I also ransack houses & steal anything not bolted down.

You walk in a random house, steal their rupees and Gil and talk about the weather before you leave.
