While I do technically have all three, the Wii is more of a family console which I don't get to use as much as my personal 360 and PS3. Ironically though, I spend far more time using my Gamecube than the wii and find that Wii games which allow you to use the Gamecube controller work more efficiently with last-generation's control pad. Interestingly enough I also use my PSP, DS and, Gamecube more than my PS3 which is an unofficial, designated Blu Ray player.
I was going to go on a bit more about the handhelds but I can see why you wouldn't want to include them: My PSP is mainly used for Final Fantasy IX and, Persona 3 Portable (one port and one remake). The DS is used for Pokemon, Final Fantasy III and (in future) Dragon Quest VI (2 remakes and Pokemon)
I have all consoles since the PS1/N64 era except dreamcast and gamecube plus a PSP and 2xDS. I only bought the PS3 recently because I want to be able to play Catherine on PS3 if it ever hits this side of the pacific. And I have 2xDS for the obvious reason... Pokemon.
2 7th generation, 4 counting portables, and 2 6th generation consoles, 3 counting portables. Oh and a pretty decent PC. I don't believe in limiting oneself to one platform if I can afford it. I'd get all the current gen consoles if I could afford it.
At this moment, I own a PS3 and a respectable PC with my current handheld device being a caanoo.
However I have owned a 360 and the largest bulk of my 7th gen library is 360 titles. I will be purchasing a new 360 here in about another month or less.
I will also be building a new behemoth PC complete with tri monitor display with the center monitor being fully 3d enabled, which i guess thats leading into gen8
I have a first generation PS3(with Spiderman font), an Xbox 360 Pro, a PSP 1001(with a loose battery), PSP 3001, a DSlite, and a DSi. I had a Wii which I sold because the only good games at launch year were first Party Nintendo titles, all of which I didn't care for(except for Brawl, which just so happened to not work on my Wii.) And I have a Mac with a single free copy of Portal. I would buy more games, but everyone knows that the Mac always gets the short end of the stick when it comes to PC games.
Still waiting for the game that'll get me to want a Wii since The Last Story might not reach American shores.
spent alot of time/money/christmas gifts to finally get everything...personally i think its all worth it, the exclusives that i enjoy more than make up for getting all the systems.
as of late i have played my pc alot more, but thats because of the steam sale and not too many games at the moment have my interest, especially price wise, for the ps3 or 360 (hardly touch the wii outside of mario kart and super smash)
Well, I have a PC of the gaming variety that's beginning to show its age (as it's only a little faster than a PS3)... a first-generation 60GB PS3... and my roommate has a Wii and a newer, modded (1TB HDD), non-backwards-compatible PS3. So I guess that counts as 2 plus a PC (which really can't be considered a 7th gen console... it sort of exists beyond gaming generations (though my PCs CPU is based on 10th generation architecture... if that counts).
Oh, there's also an XBox 360 (...Elite, I think its a first-gen... one of the ones that's prone to de-soldering its own CPU) in the house, gathering dust in a closet. Doesn't belong to either of us, I've been storing it for a friend for the past year.
