A Mac is most definitely a 'personal computer'.

You need a pc to set up an iPhone or an iPod touch and the Wii slipped my mind.

I guess all those "I'm a Mac and I'm a PC" adverts from Apple were just a big misunderstanding then?

A mac is a PC, anyone with deep knowledge knows that, it's a bit complicated, but it all boils down to the components. The same components you got in a mac can be put into a PC. The main difference is that you can't build a mac yourself because most people don't got a way to print the Apple logo on it.

I can't see the results but in response to the thread title, I assume the Wii is the most-owned current console because for a time you'd get a Wii as a reward for doing things like picking up the TV remote.

No, Apple have just attempted to call all Windows + Linux based systems PC's, but really, Macs are PC's too...

Anyway, I own almost every console available in australia and/or sweden since the NES.
And yes, that includes handhelds and a gaming PC that can handle all games on the highest.

360 and Wii here. I've used them both about evenly, the 360 more lately. The Wii will get a lot of playtime later in the year, though (Other M, Galaxy 2, hopefully Zelda).

I have a PS3, 360 and a PC, but I don't play much on my PC anymore. I probably use the 360 the most though, for gaming that is.

There was a thread with some interesting stats, I can't remember them exactly, but there were pie charts showing how many people owned what console, what genres were the most popular, there was also some charts which mixed results, such as how many 360 owners played FPS games.

I have a decent PC, meaning that it can run most games on low settings, a PS3, and a wii. My brother has an Xbox 360, but I don't count that because I'm not allowed to use it. I would say my PS3 gets the most use for single player games, and a good bit for multiplayer, but my PC gets used most for multiplayer games.
