I've probably replayed the first two or three Tomb Raider games around 30 times each, especially TR1. It represents to me the advent of 3d exploration. That and the levels at the time were just amazing. Sanctuary of the Scion is a notable example.

I constantly replay the single player storyline of Modern Warfare 2. I replayed the levels around 7-8 times already.

Why is there an option for over 40 times? To say you have gone through a full length game completely that many times is just rediculous. To answer the thread, Fallout 3 I have had about 5 and I'm on my sixth. Forty times....yeesh..
what games do you play?

my top ten games of all time i have easily each beaten 10 times..the top 5 are easily all above 30 times, and ill beat them again and again eventually.

not trying to sound like a dick but we must not play the same games..or you have super high expectations for every game you play

It's a tie between Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Probably around 10 times each. I still replay them every now and then. The thing that scares me, though, is that so many people put the 40+ option down... I can't imagine playing any game more than 40 times.

I've played through Pokemon Snap something like 8 times. That's probably my top game.

I put 15-20, but that's just an assumption, I don't really keep track.
The game in question is Crash Team Racing. I dig it out every now and again just to see if I can still beat it in a few hours.

Why can't I be that good at games that have online leaderboards and stuff?

Probably Fallout 3. Honestly, that's not even one of my favorite games. I like it, but I don't love it.

Side note, my friend has replayed Ratchet & Clank:Up Your Arsenal over 40 times now

I've beaten Dragon Age Origins about 9 times or so. No idea how I managed to do it, I'm just not cut out to beat a game 50 times. To me a game is meant to be new and exciting, so if it is really good I play it maybe 2 or 3 more times, but thats it.

Mm, I'm not a big replayer of games. I tend to like the surprise factor in terms of plotlines and the like, so I don't go back to many unless the gameplay is fantastic.

Most replayed game for me recently though is Call of Juarez 2. For some reason I can't get over the Western gimmick. CoD4 was another one I played through a few times on various difficulties.

I do tend to play a lot of games that don't have an ending though, but those are the ones I spend the most time on by far.

Depends on what you mean. Since there are some games I have tried over a 100 to beat them and still haven't beaten them. So the having to restart the whole game when you can't save is the main reason to this. The first Sonic game is a good example of this along with Dr.Mario. Even still, there are very few games I want to replay the whole game over rather then just a couple of levels. For example on Brutal Legend I have beaten it on all difficulties 10 times, so I have beaten the game 30 times already. Yes I know the game has a lot of flaws, but it is so much fun and enjoyable that I want to keep diving into it. I know I will keep diving into it, because it is a world I love and enjoy.
This. A lot.

I've played and beaten Resident Evil 4 probably 6-10 times and spent a hell of a lot more time playing Mercenaries mode.
I've played the old Sonic games probably 100+ times and haven't beaten them all that often. I beat Sonic and Knuckles less than 10 times for each character, never got all the Emeralds, and didn't have it plugged in with Sonic 3.
I've played Spelunky 500+ times and beat it once.
The Sonic collection disc helps a lot. It allows you to save wherever you are, the main reason I been enjoy a lot more hell and joy these days.

I'm assuming we're not counting games like Tetris, Geometry Wars and Bejewelled?
Then probably Mass Effect, completed that 6 times.

Back when I was younger, we had a Sega Genesis, and I loved playing the sonic games, so I played through them a LOT! I'm definitely in the 40+ area for that.

Ocarina of time, about 12-15 times I'd say, I've lost count at this stage. Enough to pick it up tomorrow and get through the water temple without getting lost at all, and it's been years since my last playthrough.
Goldeneye had a huge amount of playthroughs also. Mario Kart 64 if that counts.

I played through the first MGS more than fifty times actually. About ten times when it came out, then every couple of weeks. And now I only play it every christmas.
I sometimes don't believe it myself.
