Oh, I'm sure it'll feature a 'splosion, if you get my drift.

I'm also tempted to make a 'cut and paste' joke regarding the levels.

Fail. It was pretty damn easy single-player, unless you were playing on hardcore mode. If you have a friend who is even half decent at platformers, it was fairly easy with two people as well. The only time it was ridiculously hard was with four people...all the chaos.

'Splosion Man was the most fun I've had since I was seven or so playing Super Mario Bros. Highly anticipating Ms. 'Splosion Man now. Thanks for the heads up, OP.
Crap I ment to put in multiplayer was annoying, not single player. People never could work together and the timing thing never worked very good.

Splosion Man was OK. In a market very much saturated with 2D platformers, it doesn't really set itself apart. It's something to mess around with on days when I don't have anything else to play.

Ms splosion man... DId anyone else besides me find this really annoying?

OT: The first one was ok, don't think this one will offer that much more. It will be allright, but nothing more.

Well I'll admit I'm somewhat interested. The first Splosion Man certainly had the potential to be a good game, but I don't feel that it was. Now, this is coming from someone who was playing it for the multiplayer. I tried playing coop with 2 of my brothers, and it was horribly frustrating. The puzzles required perfect timing at some points by all 3 players at once. If even one player messes up, all 3 can be screwed over. It was simply to difficult, and spending a good chunk of time on just one section of level can quickly kill the fun. Even when I tried playing it with only one of them it just didn't work out.

The single player was probably better, but I didn't want the game for that so my opinion of it isn't to high. Regardless, I still feel it could have worked. Hopefully the sequel will fix the issues I had with the first. If they do, I bet it will be loads of fun.

Yea, understandable. I beat through it single-player and multi-player with one other person. Got about halfway with four people, but one in my group was just a completely uncoordinated stoner.

I think I'll play through it again but try to get the cake on every level now that I've heard this news.
I had a lot of fun in multiplayer with 4 people. Though we were pretty in sync with each other. The problem came when I tried to play with people over Xbox Live. Lag. It was impossible. We needed pixel perfect precision and lag would ruin us.

Are you also bothered by Ms. Pac-Man?

OT: I LOVED the original, so I'm very interested in how they'll build upon that.

Very much so, it's very frustrating.
Taken from this interview [http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/03/twisted-pixels-josh-bear-on-giving-ms-splosion-man-more-than-j/].

We have to ask: Was Ms. Pac-Man an influence in creating Ms. Splosion Man? If so, how?

Ms. Splosion Man is an homage to Ms. Pac-man, where there were similarities in gameplay and look, but everything was just more polished and better all around. We have taken that approach with this game, to make sure it is more of what people liked about Splosion Man but also stands out on its own as a much bigger and better game overall, not to be confused as an over-priced DLC pack which I think a lot of retail "sequels" can be a lot of the time.
so it makes sense they would call it "Ms. Splosion Man."
