Its a good choice, if you're connected to Live, and willing to pony up the meager 50 USD a year.

I find it the best choice. I want a PS3, but still see very few games that I want for it that aren't action games.

Must buy? Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Uno.

Get Gears of War over Gears of War 2. Seriously.

Halo 3: ODST is alright, if you like Halo 3.

Forza 2 (and the upcoming 3) are great racers, and have the best online racing community going.

The Orange Box is a must.

Castle Crashers is brilliant 4-player arcade fun. 'Splosion Man, N+ and Shadow Complex are also great arcade titles.

Lost Odyssey is one of my all-time favourite 3D JRPGs. I didn't like Blue Dragon, but it's worth a look.

Mass Effect, a brilliant RPG. Assassin's Creed if you haven't already played it.
