The orange box.
How about The Black Box, as in a PS3? :) (Just wanted to make that joke)

To back up my suggestion, though, I hear Resistance 2 has great OMP. And Killzone 2 is right around the corner. Wipeout and Gran Turismo seem to be pretty good OMP racers. Plus, the PSN does have some pretty fun OMP DLC games too. I know it's a lot to drop on another console (especially that one), but I doubt you would think you wasted your money.

Cod 4 and 5 both have great multiplayer, 4 is faster paced, and has some fun toys, while 5's guns just feel better, and has a significantly slower pace.

Ninja gaiden 2 wastes a lot of time - in a good way ;)
I actually just traded that in because I simply couldn't get the hang of it. I like for games to be challenging, but that fucker just completely kicked my ass every time I tried to play it. I couldn't even beat the second boss on easy. XD

But hey, I got some drugs out of the cash trade in, so that was a good night.

Want deep multiplayer? Get The Orange Box, TF2 is pretty much the only really balanced multiplayer game other there

Other games to get: Mass Effect, Fallout 3, Castle Crashers.

Buy Shenmue II for the original Xbox - it's a remarkable, remarkable game.

Also good on the Xbox Original: Conker: Live and Reloaded, Ultimate Spider-Man, Jade Empire, KOTOR, Ninja Gaiden Black, GTA III/SA, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Soul Calibur II, Psychonauts, Deux Ex: IW, Half-Life 2, Sid Meier's Pirates!, Silent Hill 2, Prince of Persia: SoT, Morrowind, Beyond Good & Evil, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Jet Set Radio Future, Chronicles of Riddick, House of the Dead III, TimeSplitters: FP, Sonic Mega Collection, Mega Man Anniversary Collection.

Recommending Saints Row 2 like it's going out of style. I've gotten about 40 hours worth of play out of that game, most of which has been spent just screwing around. And I've got probably a third of the storyline yet to play. Ho hum.

Crackdown! I got it for 12 bucks, awesome game, good for a few days of fun.

Fable 2 is over rated. Stay away from it. The -first- was better.

Don't get Riddick, wait for Dark Athena to be released and you'll get the original AND the sequel with updated graphics.

If it's good multiplayer your looking for... I know people will rip my lungs out for this but... Gears of War 2?

Fable 2(Sure Molyneu overhyped it, but w/e people says it's still a good game worth purchasing. The ending is a *****, but if you try and complete everything in it, it will take you about 30 or so hours.

The Orange Box
Street Fighter 4(If you like that sorta games.)
Skate 2
Prince of Persia 2008
