It's common knowledge that Metal expands with heat, and there is metal inside the Xbox.The fact that happened should not have been such a surprised. The red ring only appears under two circumstances, Insufficent power or or hardware malfuction. Overheating does not cause it to give off 3 rings.

I didnt think plastic could warp, If I were you would have just lit it on fire, then blow it up, then use it as taget practice with my explosive aroows (and yes I do have those), then put a bulls eye on it and bring it down to th shooting range, That would be so much funner.

That settles it. The 360 is fragile. Not just the hardware, even the casing that's supposed to protect the hardware. Does this not bode well for the 720?
