I am not thinking of keythongs, since I've never heard of keythongs before. According to this book I read which was entitled "Mythological Creatures." It it under Gryphons, well the book spelled it 'Griffins', but that's irrelevant, it said that the males did not have wings and instead had large spikes jutting out of their sides instead. I've been digging through my place trying to find that book, I know I still have it somewhere, but I've moved a couple times since I've last seen it and it's buried somewhere where I can't find it.
