Well as a whole, the product has improved from years ago, improved formulas and whatnot. Though personally from experience if you have thick hair, stick to shaving, or shave then use Nair to touch up when hair starts to grow back. Less hair means less time you have to leave it on. If your hair is too thick and you try Nair, it'll either take several applications to remove all the hair, or leave the cream on for a long time and either way you do risk burning yourself. Hope that helps at all.

There ya go. It may or may not cause skin irritation or a 'minor burning' sensation, but no,
something that is FDA approved should not 'cause terrible chemical burns'

ive used it s few different times.. each time i tried a different scent/type..

every single time it made me break out in a razorburn-like rash that bled quite a bit... plus it left most of the hair behind.
didnt matter how long/little i left it on for.. i always got the same reaction

horrible product... but i know a few ladies who swear by it

also it smells of hot death

I used it a while ago on my legs. Put the stuff on one leg, and within 30 seconds my leg was tingling. Within a minute, it felt like my leg was on fire. I washed it off and my leg was bright red and burning. I was left with a chemical burn that took well over a week to heal (I only had the cream on for a minute). I will NEVER use it again.

My girlfriend at the time used it on my balls once. Never again! In retrospect maybe she was being passive-aggressive. At least it didn't make me sterile.

Waxing or shaving is the way to go. Shaving is certainly more convenient and less painful.

I have only used Nair twice in my life but never liked it. It smells horrible and can get quite itchy. I prefer shaving any day. If you really are looking for an alternative, you can try waxing. (This will hurt but hey, no burns right?)

if you use it, leave it on for more than the four minutes (it never does it right-try for six), shower it off and immediately put on a scented lotion afterwards. i had to use an almost sticky-sweet, buttercream icing scent to overpower the nair stench. it does work, though-my legs were smooth and stayed that way all day. i still prefer to shave, though.

(captcha is in hebrew. i can't do that with my keyboard...)
