So, I was wandering around the Internetz today when I stumbled upon some articles regarding the Uncharted movie. I thought "It's not being directed by Uwe Boll? THANK THE EMPEROR!" I clicked on a few more links and I found this little article.

All I can say is "D FOR FUCKING DO IT!" Nathan Fillion is more than perfect for the role for Nathan Drake. And hey, we can all go "IT'S SERGEANT CAPTAIN MAL CASTLE!!!"

Can we get actual words once in a while? Please?

This is all kinda pointless cos Wahlberg has already been cast in the role but I was pissed when I found out cos, well, who's more perfect for the role than Fillion?!

/thread.

Fillon already admitted that he wouldn't be much good to the movie (Compared with Whalburg) as we've already decided whether or not to see it. Whalburg will bring in non-gaming crowds.

This would be awesome. He was awesome as Captain Hammer, he would be awesome as Nathan Drake.

I'm gonna get shit for this, but Nathan Fillion looks too old now. He wouldn't be able to pull it off anymore. 5 or 6 years ago and he'd be golden... Nathan Drake's a young dude. There are probably gonna be sequels and stuff. If Fillion looks old NOW, imagine how he'll look 8 or so years from now if (or when) they start filming for Drake's Deception. I wouldn't be upset if he got casted though, he's definitely better than Wahlberg.

I'm iffy about David Boreanaz. He's technically older than Fillion, but he looks younger, and he really strikes me as a decent Drake.

Mark Wahlberg on the other hand... I don't even begin to comprehend him being cast as Drake. He's not a BAD actor - he's starred in quite a few good movies. It's just that he always plays the macho, tough guy, never-cracks-a-smile type of character. I can't imagine him pulling a witty, happy-go-lucky Nathan Drake. I don't understand what Russell was thinking.

wahlberg is a shitty binary actor. he has 2 states to his performance...high pitched squeky voice or manly tough voice...no inbetween. dead is lame. and im like 90% sure he is older than fillion

I really don't even know why anyone is worrying themselves about it at this point. The movie will be *nothing* like the game last I heard. Going to have the Drake family as some sort of mafia group that deals in antiquities or something to that effect.

All in all, I would like Fillion to play the part; but I just don't see it happening. He's already stepped down gracefully.

I honestly thought Wahlberg is more fitting in terms of appearance. Fillion just seems a bit too big and bulky to play Nathan Drake.

it should definitely be Nathan Fillion he's a far better actor and even f he wasn't the way he looks and his personality in his previous roles suit Nathan drake a lot more than Mark Whalberg.
