Poll: Never Played Counter Strike

The title says it all i have never played counter strike although
i have seen many videos and parodies of it

so what do you think of a person who has never played Counter Strike ?

since i have always been a console gamer there was probaly no chance of me playing it anyway.

Once I was in a game centric cybercafe and the assholes next to me seemed to randomly jump, scream and swear at their computers. They were playing counterstrike...I was disgusted.

There were kids there, minding their own business, is your game that important?

I think it's like 5 dollars on Steam because of the Holiday sale. May as well just get it.

I played it once recently at school for about 20 minutes. I like Team Fortress 2 better.

I've played Counter-strike since version 1.2 back in.. whatever year that was. We have an on again, off again relationship. I've been in a couple clans and did the CAL thing for a bit. But that never really grabbed me quite like I thought it would. I play my games pretty leisurely, and have a hard time being competitive, so it really has to hit the mood just right for me to get into it. I don't yell at the monitor and break keyboards. But, that sort of behavior doesn't really come out of me during any event.

With that said, I will go ahead and say that there's very few things in life that I brag about, but I can be pretty confident in bragging about my CS skills. That may be the saddest thing some of you have ever heard. But, there you have it.

I played Counter Strike, I still do. A lot actually. It's fun with all the different game types you wont get bored with it easily. I recommend getting it, its on sale atm.

I did, but it was only on a dedicated server run by a guy at my college, so the only people that played were on campus...and it wasn't a big campus. And even then, I was really only into it for one year.

Not really my bag. It's really repetitive, and I'm not at all into multiplayer games anyway.

I don't see what's so special about never having played it. I've never played Ocarina of Time, I didn't post a thread about it.

Yeah, I played Counter-Strike. I liked the fact that you only have one life per round, made it more tense. I even bought the Xbox version for a couple of euro. I don't really play it anymore though, these days I'm too busy with Team Fortress 2, Gears of War 2, Call of Duty 5 etc.

I played the original, and hated it, but I played the Source version and liked it a lot more. I like other games more, but that's not to say I dislike Counter-Strike.
