Poll: New COD maps

I will get to play them at my freinds house, he's bit dumb saying thinks like "COD MW2 is the best game ever" I proberly not get them cos i think any map pack is a waste of money, even MW2 was a waste of money

I like them quite a lot.
The only problem I have is the vast amount of tight corners in the new maps. It is a great opportunity for people to run around with shotguns and kill everything that moves, because it is very, very easy to get into close quarters combat.

Stupidly expensive for 3 new maps and 2 recycled ones. They should let Crash and Overgrown go for free. One of the maps is far too big, one of thems alright and I can't remember the other one. If the price comes down majorly I'd get them cause I love Crash and Overgrown.

If it weren't for IWnet there'd be thousands of custom maps by now. But noooo, what PC gamers really want is Xbox live with more bugs, more hackers and half as many 'features'...

If I'll be perfectly honest, I don't understand why whenever someone makes a thread about a map pack or something asking whether or not they should buy it, or how good it is, they get hundreds of responses from people who haven't actually got the map pack saying that they're not going to buy it.

The maps look good to me. I loved Crash from CoD4 (Overgrown was sort of meh to me, but fun on Domination) and the new maps look OK with the exception of Salvage. That just looks like a shotgun/grenade launcher ragefest to me.

Map packs should be free, this is bullshit. I'm not getting it, got BFBC2 the otehr day anyways.

But kindof a dick/smart move, seeing how they only have automated server search, people might have an even harder time finding servers now, if they didn't buy the map pack, cause lot so of servers are gonan be on including-map-pack-maps-server-rotation.

Well, I'm a PS3 goer, so I haven't been able to even buy them yet. Chances are, I won't, they really don't seem worth it.

Anyways, 15$ for 3 new maps is not worth it and... i'd only buy it for the 2 old ones anyway since the MW2 designer team sucks at everything.

To be honest it a joke they're not new maps well a couple are beu the they go an put CRASH & OVERGROWN in ther isf im gonna buy new map packs I want new maps not just deveopers thinking "errrrr what can we do now I know let put 2 maps in from COD 4 charge 1200 MS POINTS for it and go and buy a new ferrari" its a total joke it s just idleness on the developers part tha game wasny that goon any way I paid £120 for the prestige edition with the night vision goggles fair enought they are good a % maga pixel screen that can see black writing on a cardboard box in pitch black and the thermal isnt just black and white it does show body heat they them selves are worth the £120 but the game,come on BFBC and BFBC2 are far infront of what COD will ever be my judgment dont waste your points and if you dont have the game yet dont waste your money get BFBC2.

I havnt bought mw2, so i'll wait until a special edition comes out with the maps included.

That would probably cost: price of the original game + price of mappack + 5 dollars (just to be evil) . . .

BC2 came along, from there my little remaining interest in CoD2 evaporated. Which is sad, because I became quite good at the game. The matches however tend to act out fairly similarly. The map geometry is simply too constrained.

Crash and Overgrown were put in because they are fan favourites, Cod4 even had a Cod 2 map thrown in. A lot of games do this (I'm pretty sure Halo 3 and Gears 2 did it as well)

Gears 2 had the Flashback map pack which was 5 fan favourites from Gears 1.Thing is it was free to anyone who bought the game new

I enjoy MW2 but there's no way I'm buying these maps until they come down in price(if ever).A map pack should be 800 points max
