Great thanks, thats a hell of a lot cheaper than any other upgrades :D

my pleasure, just make sure you know what the motherboard in that PC can handle in terms of CPUs, because if you're going to upgrade in the future, that would be the place to start, the GPU should be good for a while yet.

4890 is a brilliant card the multi-gpu on a card stuff is mostly pointless the games simply aren't there to push them to make it worth spending £350+ on a card when Dx11 parts will arive in November anyway

I've heard that AMD triple core CPUs are quite good. There's even meant to be a way you can 'unlock' that last core to make it a quad. Other than that, make sure you get a decent video card. I didn't so much and now I'm paying for it. Lastly, make sure you get 4GB RAM. Even if it's just DDR2 800mhz stuff, I wouldn't go any less.

also depends what os you have, if you have vista then you want a ton of ram but xp can only really use 2 gigs
