Poll: New game dilemma caused by UK release dates: "Drunk or hungover"

So now I have a dilemma. I've just bought Fable 2 but the first chance I'll have to play it is very late tonight or tomorrow morning. Hence the question; should I play this new game for the first time ever drunk, or hungover?

Tomorrow, but after the hangover has cleared. Get a cup of tea and a couple of Nurofen down your neck, chill out for a couple of hours with a packet of biscuits and however many more cups of tea you fancy, then stick the game on when you're feeling alright.

Win-win.

...that sounds worryingly like an attempt at giving a hangover cure. Not intentional, really. I certainly don't take my own advice, I just sit around feeling like death and playing Hexic HD until I feel capable of getting out of bed. Usually around 48 hours after drinking. Urrrrrrgh.

EDIT: I should probably add that I'm a lazy student and will merrily be skiving my lectures next Friday and spending the entire day and most of Saturday playing Fallout 3. Good times.

I suggest you make a "Safe" save first though in case you really fudge things up in a drunken stupor.

Bloody taxing dodging dole scum. Also, I wish I was still a student. Still I think I prefer working through the pain to a group of my friends who took Friday off together to play MGS4. Enough of that.

Playing with a hangover is impossible IMO. When I am hung over all I can do is trow up and have a headache. Playing drunk sometimes works. I remember one night when I came home slightly toasted and I did a quick game of UT3 before I went to bed. I really was pwning then. For a while. Then I got dizzy and almost spewed all over my PC.

But seriously, chances are playing a RPG of any kind, you will mess up royally if you are drunk. I've seen more than enough of these oopsies in eve, where people frequently go out to pvp while smashed, yelling incoherent things over TS, suicide themselfs into a large hostile fleet, and then get another ship and do it again because they are pissed.
