I know the limited edition case for Halo 3 cracked my disk and a few of my friends ones too, I hope they sort out that problem. Getting the disk out of the case easily and not having to try and wrench it out is literally step one of game enjoyment

I had similar frustrations with the H3 Limited Edition. The disc kept falling out of it's fastener, which inevitably damaged the discs. The only thing worse than a fastener that's too tight is one that's too loose and damages your shit!

Looks amazing. I'm getting really into this now! Has there been any information about how long the Beta will be open for? Because I want as much time with it as I can!

That said, I will probably only get the normal edition of the game. I just want to play the game, man! I don't need any silly stuff on the side.

It looks pretty cool; however, I'm thinking those guys in the video are just blowing up the hype even more. Now that I think about it, not too many new elements are being added to this game except for the perks - which can hardly be called new. Invisibility? That was already a power-up in previous games, except now everyone has the ability to spawn with it; a fact which could have some gamebreaking results.

I'm curious as to how this will play out. Halo multiplayer has always been about making a mad-dash for the power weapons and fighting to have control of them. Now that we can spawn with our ideal gun, we might focus less on grabbing weapons and more on controlling key positions/fucking around (if you're like me).

I still think the jetpack is stupid as hell, though.

I had absolutely no interest in Reach before this video. The only reason I watched it on my 360 earlier today was because I was bored. Who knew one vid like this could completely reverse my opinion.

It's like Halo 3 except.....smart.

Probably the same amount of time as the Halo 3 one. So... about 1 month?

Thats probably why they're having a beta. To see whats fun and what sucks ass, and adjust accordingly. And the power weapons are still scattered around the maps. The loadouts let you spawn with most non-power weapons.

But, we will find out how this all works in the beta. It has the potential to fail spectacularly. Likewise it has the potential to be absolutely amazing.

That guy with the glasses and navy jumper is very annoying... but I like the little dude with the beard : 'I'm terrified about it coming out'

I fucking love Bungie. Say what you want about their games, but Bingie is filled with people that really do love video games. They really are excited for the game, like a gamer would. I mean, look at their forums. I mean, sometimes they have meme's as headings. The people at Bungie are kind of the perfect mix between gamers and industry giants. Sure, they are hyping up the game, but you can tell that they really do love it. And they do go into its faults at the end of the video. The development team there has to be so much damn fun to work it.

Anyways, I really like the melee attacks and the selection stuff. And having the same Spartan in campaign and in Multilayer sounds fun as hell.

I wish more developers did that... very few do. Valve is the only other company that comes to mind.
