But I think some of them, some not all, should maybe lurk a bit and learn how the Escapist rolls. No "txt-spk" for one thing, proper use of punctuation and grammar and last but not least: Spelling.
The idea that something has to be one thing or another has always bothered me. Very rarely are things black and white. They shouldn't be regarded as such.
Take this subject for example. While I belive that it is a very, very good thing that we're getting new users, I know that there are negative aspects that go along with it. I don't like repeat threads any more than the next guy, and I've slammed my fair share of trolls in the face, but that we have those problems means that the website is alive and well.
So, while not everything about them is something I would like to see, I know it's a very good thing.
Apologies if this seems confusing. My writing is sort of like that...
