The usual. Guy doesn't like MLP:FiM. Inadvertently draws even more attention to it. Other people who don't like it also draw attention to it. Etc.

You misunderstand my intentions. I may lead the revolution now, but there will come a time where I will step down and become one with the herd again. At that time no one pony will control the Friendship (or apples), all will have a share of it, as much as they need. There will be no need for anypony to let you have as much Friendship as you want, because you will already have all you need.

I am merely a humble apple farm worker who has chosen to lead the Ponytariat into a better future.

Sure you say that now, but how would we know if you'd really step? What if you let the power get to you? And what's the to stop somepony else from taking your place anyway? All civilizations develops a leader at some point. Why not stay under the majestic rule of Princess Celestia where you know you'll be under the rule of someone you can trust with the power?

I don't really see why the internet is totally split about the whole ponies thing.

Honestly, because the part of the internet that is against the ponies doesn't get it. They think it's all "trolling." Or they just don't understand exactly what it is we're watching: they think the new MLP is the same as the old.

From what I've seen, the pony fandom is like the most ideal religion ever. They love this thing, because it makes them happy. And they want to get other people to know and love this thing and feel happy too. And then when people don't like it, or outright hate on it, they just smile and love on them all the same, because that's okay, too.

At least, that's the real pony fandom. There are still the Westboro Baptist ponies, though, who do troll on other people, but just like the Westboro Baptists could be considered "not Christians," these Westboro Ponies could be considered "not ponies," since both are just using a loving organization to spread hate.
