I love Doug Walker's works, most especially Nostalgia Critic, but I do have a soft spot for Bum Reviews as well. Ask That Guy...I can take or leave. Usually take, but it rarely it makes me laugh to the extent of the other two.

That whole site is awesome, really. Linkara, Spoony, Nostalgia Chick, Bennet the Sage, Paw, Y Ruler of Time...

I find myself laughing the whole time.

However, his Alone in the Dark review was seriously hurt due to Spoony.

Note* I don't like Spoony. His jokes are funny when they're written. However, everything that comes out of his mouth seems bland. It's only my opinion...Even if I'm right.
I enjoy Spoony but the more you watch people like AVGN, Nostalgia Critic, Linkara etc etc, the more obvious it becomes that Spoony heavily "borrows" ideas from them. Dr. Insano is fun though. SCIENCE!!!
I thought the Spoony Experiment was around before That Guy With the Glasses went up. He was independent before he joined them.

Yes, yes I do.

When my love for Yahtzee began to wane, old Doug was there to catch me. Long may he reign.

And all together now:

[HEADING=2]I was frozen today!![/HEADING]
[HEADING=2]Timing![/HEADING]

Doug is probably one of the funniest men on the Internet. not just for the Nostalgia Critic but I am quite fond of Ask That Guy With The Glasses too.

Also:

[HEADING=2]A BAT CREDIT CARD![/HEADING]
Doug Walker FTW!

[HEADING=2] OF COURSE!!!! [/HEADING]

and

[HEADING=2] BIG LIPPED ALLIGATOR MOMENT [/HEADING]

... although that was technically Nostalgia Chick's joke
oh, but dont forget...

The site was, but before he joined TGWTG all he really did was text reviews of bad movies and AVGN style game reviews (damn good but pretty obvious where the inspiration came from).

Most of his stuff is hilarious. Some, can be a little lame, I've noticed, but I still think he's pretty humorous.

i reckon the star of the site is probably Linkara.
I can never get past the fact that Linkara's voice sounds like the ur-comic-nerd.

He sounds like the kind of person Comic Book Guy would be ashamed to be seen with.

(And he reviews mainstream toss.)

Sometimes Doug is funny, and the "feud" with the Nerd was great (though I prefer James Rolfe's monster and horror movie stuff to his game stuff).

I think my favourite Internet Reviewer Of Things is Vangelus though (toy reviews).

Ah, yeah those were the things I'd remembered. I didn't really think his style was much like the Nerd's, though (and not just going by the ratio of coarse language).

I admit, I'm not really as up-to-date on Spoony's recent videos, or any other than Hell's Kitchen, Yor, E.T., Bayou Billy, and Dragonstrike. All of those seemed quite his own style, though.

He has his moments.

Occasionally he says something genuinely inciteful, then you sit in awe for a second as the shouty mindlessness continues, it's worth watching for those moments...

His Top 11's are indeed very insightful.

Whoa, I didn't know there were this many TGWTG fans on the escapist. I'm actualy listening to an episode of Transmission Awsome as I write this.

To answer your question, absolutely. He's not my favourite person on the site, (Spoony!) but he's definately in the top 5. Suede to. (I miss him...)

Now, for random TGWTG running jokes.

TIMING!!!
I Heard that, Curtis.
OF COURSE!!!

A friend from college showed me his review of The Wizard and since then I've been checking back every Wednesday. Undoubtedly one of the funniest people on the internet today. I've also been watching some of his other videos, like Bum Reviews and Ask That Guy.

Bum Reviews can be really funny, one of my favourites being The Never-ending Story.

Ask That Guy is more hit-or-miss, albeit most of the time its a hit.One of my favourite questions he got asked was

Q: Are you a man or a woman?
A: I'm German

I like Spoony, Nostalgia Chick and Linkara more than the Nostalgia Critic. I still watch the Critic, mind you.

NC is funny sometimes, and for the same reasons why I like AVGN. I like it better when they talk in a more underplayed, annoyed tone, like any normal person would, especially when they're just making stupid, sarcastic observations. But I HATE IT when they start shouting, doing weird facial expressions, and general overacting. It's just annoying.

I love a lot of the guys on TGWTG though I do think Doug's the best. I also like Phelous, Linkara, Spoony, Bennett the Sage, Angry Joe, Mike Jeavons, Guru Larry (not haven't really seen anything with Wez), Lee and Dena, Team Four Star, Nostalgia Chick, and Dr. Ashens. I also enjoy some of the Distressed Watcher's videos but he can often mistake jokes with being an overly negative prick. Overall Doug's assembling quite the group of people, almost could picture the team assembling to the Magnificent Seven theme.

EDIT: Oh, yes almost forgot:

OH MY GOD THIS IS THE GREATEST TOPIC I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY WHOLE LIFE!!!!!
And that's no lie. Swear to it!
Remember. There's no such thing as a stupid question until you ask it.

He's pretty funny when he's not overdoing one of his cringe-worthy jokes. I've never really watched any of the other guys.
