Poll: Not using cheats, only skills.

Haven't been accused in a long time. Only ever got it when I played CoD4 online on PC, I was asked fairly regularly if I had aimbots or wallhacks. Funnily enough, I was never just kicked but people queried first.

Not these days, but back when I played CoD2 and sometimes in 4 I did.

You don't have people shouting or whining at you in TF2 for killing them, it's beautiful.

Not 100% true, there was a guy on the server a few weeks back, I did my usual trick of flanking with the heavy and mowing through them from behind, I got accused of no-clipping by randomer because he "would have seen a heavy go past".

Trying to votekick an admin isn't the best idea. Calling an admin a "hacking ******" is a worse (and kickable) idea. Coming back onto the server after you've been kicked to say it again is suicidal.

Back in the old CS 1.5 me and my friend would just go to lan centers and clean house, we got thrown out a couple of times because people said we were hacking and it was like prove it. Eventually we went stared playing online from our homes and there were a couple of times I just got insanely lucky kills and people just flipped out screaming hax. Which really sucked because I'm a person who loves finding a server I like and constantly returning. I got banned from a server I played on for like a year because on one round it was a 3 on 1. One guy came at me from the front and the other from behind, they thought it was a guarantee kill so the guy behind tried to run up behind me and knife me. I hit the guy in the front with a headshot, turned around to get behind cover in case he had backup, the guy behind filled my screen and just reflexively I shot and kill him. Apparently they thought I spun around way too fast and shouldn't have known he was behind me. Then running around for a minute or so I thought I heard a guy ahead so I lobbed a grenade around a corner and it miraculously killed him. People screamed hax and that I wouldn't have thrown a nade unless I had wallhacks on. I got banned and pretty much never played CS again.

Nowadays I play games mostly for recreation and don't have much time to be slightly better than average, using a cheap headset, and a cheap mouse, I really don't get accused of hacking ever.

I've gotten banned and kicked from a whole bunch of servers, most of the time I don't even know why. I assume it was because people thought I was hacking. People can be quite stupid sometimes. Not only that but, as you pointed out, some people just don't think that sound plays a big tactical role in FPSes. Or that people may turn around from time to time to check their '6 just in case.

The whole thing is more than a little off-putting. I'm not even all that good, either.

Once when playing an infection game on Combat Arms, I was one of the zombies and basically everyone on the human side grouped up to repel the zombies. They were distracted by the other zombie guy so I decided to come at them from the other direction. One multi-kill or so later I was accused of tapping and/or hacking so they used the vote-to-kick option in game which, when you're in a game of 2 vs 14 and when you just kicked the asses of all the other players, is not going to go my way obviously. At least one guy on the other team was on my side but since 2 people don't make up the majority in a group of 16 I ended up getting kicked.

And the moral of the story is: Don't play Combat Arms...I hate the community on that game.

i play WolfTeam, online shooter. every single day i get a truckload of "hacker, cheater, glitcher, noob, lagger" and many other excuses for them dieing while having spent real-life money on it and me still standing and getting headshots with the basic starters sniper ^^

i used an action replay on pokemon once and once again on animal crossing.. yay me :/

Ive been accused of it a few times in mmo's in wow becuase at level 75 my hunter had like 13,000 gold (which is easy to get especially when you hit TBC) all I did was had dual gathering proffessions, and used only what i got in rewards or instances rather than keep buying on the auction house.

Had similar in Guild Wars once with my W/Mo because some D/A couldn't kill me with my build >.<

I frequently get messages from angered infected in L4D2 due to the fact that I'm somewhat decent with a sniper rifle.

When ever i got a lucky kill in MGO people would think i was cheating, but to be fair i could of been lagging. My freinds get angry at me in games they love but i hate and i still win, for example in MW2 i play like i'm the scout in TF2 just run jump shotgun, so people get pissed cos i land right next to them and kill them.

I've been accused of it a very small bit, because I can fire extremely fast with the pistol(on both PC and console). I've never been kicked for it though.
