Neonbob and the dude with 2001: a space odyssey light tunnel are good. Oh and Irridium.
Other than that, I'm not too fussed.

It's because it's fantastic.

Furburt also always has a good one.

Not sure who uses it, but there's a gif of Pennywise from Stephen King's IT, behind the laundry hanging out to dry, from the first scene. Great film, and absolutely adore the avatar.
Why thank you. I made it myself and I'm quite proud when it freaks people out. :)

I like yours. I loved Collateral and Tom was awesome in it. Too bad he went bonkers after that. Can't wait to see him in Knight and Day though.
Ordinarily I get annoyed when people snip a post with something other than "snip," but in addition to that proving the point you made, you've cleverly puffed up my ego while doing it. So, kudos to you, good sir.

Also, I like your avatar of a guy smoking even though I have no idea who he is or what movie that's from.

Cruise's acting has always been extremely hit-or-miss.

Collateral: Hit
Minority Report: Miss
Risky Business: Hit
Mission Impossible 2: Miss
Interview with the Vampire: Hit
Mission Impossible 3: Miss

I've come to the conclusion that with the exception of Risky Business, Cruise does best when in an antagonistic role. He is not a good leading man, and he cannot convincingly be the generic good guy who saves everyone. Sort of like how Samuel L. Jackson cannot play a stoic.

NeonBob's and IdealisCommi's are probably the coolest ones on the site...
Though that's a matter of opinion.

Wrong. ;)

That's Robert Downey Jr, by the way.
Oh, I see. Heh.

Usually I find women in general like their forum avatar to have some sort of indicator which implies their gender. Not saying that's the right way to do things, but just that's what I've noticed.

So... Sherlock Holmes, maybe? I'm not that familiar with Robert Downey Jr's work, although I enjoyed his bit in Iron Man.

Ok, with 5 pages of avatars I see quite a few that stand out to me.

I remember this from a good while ago. I always liked it.

It's a monkey. Doing the monkey. Awesome.

Seizures and random running? I love it.

Absolutely hilarious.

I'm glad to see this bear back. Quite fun to watch.

You need to have a word with this person, HAB. He hath stolen your work!

Haha, thanks for looking out for me. I was a little annoyed at first, but since I didn't make the movie IT and it's just pixels on a screen I figure that it's kinda dumb to hold a grudge. This will be my avatar as long as I'm on the site (I've used this avatar since my days on Livejournal) and I'm guessing that he'll eventually change it. *shrug*
