Erm, If you mean searching for this a thread thats exactly like this...why should I bother because its most likely old and I want a discussion on it. A thread that noone has posted on for a few weeks isnt going to attract attention :S
thats why i like the escapist, when you post in a thread it is put on a list on all pages of the site.easily bringing back threads!

If you post on it people won't know that it's old. People will simply see that the last post was today and then reply to it. Every now and then you'll get some guy saying "WOW OLD POST" but don't worry about him. He's a tard.
lol sorry, most boards iv been on frown on dragging up dead threads

Fallout 3. It is better than Oblivion by far. Also, if you post a thread that is even remotely similar to any thread that has been done ever, then you'll get hordes of assholes called deja-nazis telling you "Use the search button you retard".

Don't versus threads like this usually get locked?

Anyway, on topic I prefer Fallout since the combat is so much more appealing and fun than Oblivion, which was basically: hit this enough times to make it die, unless he hits you enough times so you die. It's not exactly what I'd call fun.

Hi this is my first post EVA!
Anyway I have both and in my personal opinion they are each focused on a different kind of gamer really;
oblivion suffered from some odd glitches that effectively broke the immersion (I hit martin's horse accidentally which attacked me and because martin was an alley to both of us he ran back and forth between us attacking eventually hitting Juaffery who hit a imperial guard and, well chaos)
but has its own midevil feel to it.

Fallout is far more immersive though and has its own post apocalyptic feel to it.

to be honest though I bought Fallout 3 on the day it came out full price , but bought Oblivion game of the year edition recently for a lot less, so I have to say Fallout 3 is my favored game of the two

Oblivion has a fantasy setting with significantly more color and vibrancy to the world (on account of how the planet wasn't rocked by a nuclear apocalypse).

Fallout 3 has everything else. It's basically Oblivion with a year and a half of improvements tacked onto it. It has a working stealth mechanic, for example. (Oblivion goes from hidden to found instantly)

Yeah, Radiant AI was anything but. It was quite possibly the worst AI system of the day and Bethesda was promoting it like it was the greatest invention since the kettle. They focused too hard on things which either failed or didn't matter and too little on things which were important, but appeared to take on board a lot of criticisms in time for Fallout 3 which became a greater game because of it.

Fallout 3 is a sci-fi variant of what Oblivion really should have been.

In my opinion Oblivion absolutely annhilates Fallout 3. It's larger, contains more unique factors, is longer, etc.
