Morrowind is on the Xbox. I prefered Morrowind, but I'm trying to find copies of 1 and 2.
The Elder Scrolls site has had the first game, Arena, available for download for a while now:

No idea where you could get hold of the second one, though.

For Me THere Is No Contest Morrowinnd was the best game by far

Oblivion Was Too Long Winded and had not even half the emersion quality that morrowind had

I preferred Oblivion, but I'm more of an action-gamer and I hated Morrowind's combat system.

Plus, I still have Oblivion installed with over 6GB of mods and I play it on and off. But I can see why people would prefer Morrowind.

I have recently been playing Morrowind again, and I plan on getting back into some Oblivion after.....

Personally, I prefer Morrowind over Oblivion. My main reasons being:

1. There were more skills to customize your class. - I can't help but weep for the Unarmored, and Medium Armored skills... and I have yet to grasp how Axes are Blunt Weapons.

2. There were exclusive, and more numerous guilds. - You could play as generally a Warrior, Mage, or Thief-type character, and there were plenty of guilds to join per game that could change your experience. You could only join ONE Great House, which made Morrowind essentially playable 3 times with alternative quests. And personally, If I were to join the Temple... it would be strange to ALSO join the Imperial Cult.. right? But to me, that's role playing.

3. The landscape was more diverse. - Morrowind looked different the further you traveled. Sadrith Mora was full of small islands and giant mushrooms.. The Ashlands were barren wastelands. Near Ald'ruhn was a desert. The bitter coast region was well... a swampy looking coast. Near Vivec and Pelagiad were nice farmland... The Grazelands region... most things were new and interesting to see.... Oblivion is just a lot of samey forest.

I could go on.. but those are my biggest issues I suppose.

I'll choose Morrowind. It was more challenging and the environments were more interesting. There was a greater sense of danger when exploring, and a greater risk/reward for doing so. Death could be right around the corner.

Unfortunately for me, crashes were right around the corner aswell. I couldn't play the game at all after a certain point in the game so I gave up. I enjoyed Oblivion because it was an Elder Scrolls game that I could finish!

I like Morrowind AND Oblivion, but for different reasons. I have them both installed on my PC and heavily modded.

I definitely have to say Morrowind. I liked the atmosphere a lot better and I was actually interested in the story. I liked the characters better and the quests were a lot more fun. Morrowind has way better mods but thats probably just because its been out longer. Although I still really like Oblivion and for Oblivion I played about 120 hours on PC and about 60 hours on PS3. I didnt play Morrowind as much but thought overall it was a better experience.

I didn't care for not really knowing where I was going half the time in Morrowind and the Combat was so annoying.

Morrowind wins for having more spells and giving the player to exploit them. Casting jump other 300 and watching an npc fly into the sky to die from the impact never got old.

Morrowind had a better story with racial tension that really made the world more interesting. Instead of races just mocking eachother in Oblivion they really just HATED one another in the other game. There were some more interesting monsters in Morrowind (quick travel bugs anyone?)and certainly there was some more things to do in the much larger land, like ..get a werewolf infection.

Personally, I loved Morrowind's combat system, it was completely different from anything I've ever experianced.
It did get irritating not being able to hit things at the beginning but that's the whole point isn't it?
No matter what you choose, the game forces an ineptitude upon you.

It makes the game feel more whole and complete in my opinion. Oblivion is disagree'd with because I could just start with crappy spells, yet I could hit everything, everytime.
I liked the idea of having to level up my spells in order to be useful with them, being a wizard was truely awesome at the end of the game.
It felt like I had accomplished something, an experiance oblivion lacked.

Morrowind's story was also fantastic, admitadly no matter how they dressed it up the gist of it was a given as soon as it loaded and gave you a bit of prophecy.
Still, it was interesting having that ability to completely ditch the main quest if you so choose and go do anything you really wanted too.

Landscape, whilst it wasn't truely awe inspiring or as magnificent as Oblivions it still served it's purpose.
I had fun exploring it and that's what mattered to me, especially when I was a werewolf.
The expansions where also excellent, two very different places from the mainland which gave the game a breath of fresh air and extra value.
I loved the idea of Sothasil.

Never played Morrowind, Oblivion is my most played game of all time. Oblivion wins.
