I'm alright with the split screen, but I don't really care that much. Getting a smaller area to look at can make the game harder, anyways.

I would. I love playing games with my friends and brother and the like. Then online came. And destroyed it. It made me a sad panda.

EDIT: HURRAY GONE GONZO

I always liked offline splitscreen. Especially in Goldeneye.

And we need more hotseat strategy games!

When I was young, you didn't have your internets to play on!

I like split screen games; however recently games seem to split the screen in such awkward ways.

As much as I hate the smaller screen at times I still like playing with another living person that is in the same room as me.

I want more split-screen games that have co-op, mostly because lately my wireless router has been resetting itself...
But yeah, I'd love more games with this option because I like playing split-screen.

Congrats, I'm almost there.

OT: I miss split screen too. Its too bad really because playing 4 person goldeneye is one of my fave videogame memories.

It doesn't particularly matter to me, being a PC gamer and all.

However, I'm well aware that a large number of console gamers miss it so I'd like to see dev's include it more as an option. I was glad to hear Ubisoft doing that with the Conviction co-op.

I love split screen, I wish more games had it. At least let us play split screen online like you can with the nonranked matches in older call of dutys and in halo.

I would love more co-op games, even when they are split screen. I like playing with friends and most of them don't have consoles.

I know. My brother got Modern Warfare 2 and the singleplayer is pretty kickass, but then my brother went to play splitscreen with a friend and it was sooo strange. The 'screens' could have been 1/4th as big! Ridiculous.

Split-screen is usually a deciding factor for what system I get a game on, if a console supports offline multiplayer I'll get it for said console, otherwise I'm more inclined to grab a PC copy.

It's bugging me how few games have split-screen anymore.

I love split screen, because otherwise my flatmate and I have to buy a copy of every game for ourselves.

Which is expansive when they first come out.

Here's my dilemma. You see, I'm the youngest of 3, with 2 older sisters. They enjoyed a few NES and SNES games (Mario games) but I definitely played more than them. And almost never played games with them. Also, I've never really had friends who lived in my neighbourhood. So, growing up and even now I almost always am gaming on my own, therefore online multiplayer is great. I've had many fun times co-oping online on the PS3 with my cousin. However, when I could have a friend or three over, those were the best. I really do prefer co-op when you're side by side with your buddy. It's just more engaging I guess. But, I don't really mind since it was a rare thing to do for me. Plus, there's advantages to online co-op - like not having to share my screen. Still, I'd like to involve my girlfriend in my gaming more just for something else to do, but so many games (particularily the ones she prefers) are only single player. And it's not much fun to watch a newbie game.
