My 360 has had two Red Rings of Death (the 3-sectioned ring), three Red Rings if you count the one time Microsoft sent my Xbox back to me without fixing it.
I managed to fix a RROD by waiting a while and turning it on again. Don't try this at home, kids.

Yeah, I just don't like to game on PC and I can't be bothered to mimic a console setup with my PC. I'm what another PS3 fanboy on here calls a "lazy" gamer. Of course, he calls me that because I don't like gaming on PC and therefore believe that titles like Mass Effect are exclusive to the 360. For me at least. But, I digress.Marowit said:

Bought my 360 in 2006. It RRODed for the third time recently so I think i've given up on the 360 for a while.
Got a PS3, which is fine but I miss, my 360 controller! And I keep getting an error message saying i've been signed out of PSN. Then I get signed back in/out/in/out. Which is 'mildly' annoying when playing online. Oh! And it always takes about 10 minutes just to download game settings in COD4.
While typing this, I'm REALLY missing my 360! I wanna buy an Elite, but I can't afford it right now. MY 360 timed its demise perfectly with the imminent release of COD:MW2. Damn. Damn. DAMN!

Anyhoo, getting back on topic (my apologies to the others in this thread). A friend of mine got his 360 back yesterday after having sending it off for repairs. A day later and it has actually RROD'd again. Problem is it can't actually be registered for another repair with it having been returned so soon. Shame that such a good console has such a large drawback.
