I don't really know why Sega decided to discount everything on Steam. Perhaps it was a measure of goodwill towards PC gamers for whatever reason (like not getting Sonic Generations maybe), or perhaps they're just trying to make up their massive losses and figured an across-the-board sale on Steam would be the best way to do that. Either way, there's a whole bunch of discounts, and we all have a soft spot for Steam discounts, right?

Every time there's a sale, our bank account balances mysteriously drop. So I'd like to know, a little before the end, how much your bank says you owe them so far and why. Personally, I've spent 30 dollars: 15 on Empire: Total War after getting a series recommendation from Facebook, and Bastion because I felt like it. How 'bout you guys?

I bought a genesis pack just for Shinobi 3 and the Shadow ninja wolf game. I also got Gunstar heroes. Considered Napoleon Total War as it's the only one on steam I don't have... but after playing Empire for a few mins a couple days ago and remembering how that was.... I was fine passing it up.

Haven't spent anything on it because there isn't anything there that I'd likely be playing.
Also, Bastion is published by Warner Bros. not Sega, so you only spent $15.

I know that...Although, since I did spend money during the sale, it still sort of counts. That's also why I voted in the lower '30' bracket.

I haven't bought anything yet.

Still weighing up the Total War games... Deciding which I should get.

Only want one, not getting all. Still thinking about it and reading reviews.

Edit: I think I'll get Medieval 2...

Got Alpha Protocol and AvP 2010 for less than £5 ($8ish?). Well worth it! I was tempted by the old Mega Drive games but I didn't in the end as I knew they'd be a waste of money.

The only game I was remotely interested in was Crazy Taxi. But I doubt I'd play it much.

I bought Alpha Protocol for ?2, didn't look half-bad when I started, but then I came across the hacking tutorial which is fucking bullshit. Then again I wasn't completely sober, maybe I should try it again today.

I own everything I want from that sale already. 3 years of numerous mid year/end year sales means you begin to run out of things to buy eventually.

Bought Alpha Protocol for £1.50. Haven't played it yet, but Yahtzee had at least a few good things to say about it. So I'm looking forward.

I don't know why Sega put their games on sale on Steam either. I mean they're actually making more of a profit than Nintendo again, which I never though I'd see. Although they do have a decent amount of PC games (Total War series!!!). I just bought Alpha Protocol. $2, does not hurt. Although my favourite game from Sega for PC has to be Total War: Shogun 2. Classic.

Oh, it's good. Some fans on this site go a little overboard with the, "WHY DID THIS GAME NOT SELL SO MUCH???? IT'S SO GOOD!!!" II simply tell them Mass Effect did it better and then move along.

...it's appropriate.

Ah, who am I kidding. With Daily Deals, it's always appropriate with Steam. Bloody oath.

Personally, I haven't spent anything in the SEGA sale. I did buy Company of Heroes though, since I've been playing Dawn of War II and Space Marine and Relic are pretty cool dudes.

Just bought the Total War Mega pack.

I always feel bad after I buy games on Steam, feels like I'm wasting money. But I'll feel better once my Swedish Empire rules Europe.

Nothing yet. All the games I want I seem to already have.
But everyone should go out and buy Alpha Protocol now.
