Poll: On the "three magic words" in a relationship:

I've only said those magic three words to family members or close friends. Never to someone I was in a relationship with. EDIT: To clarify, that's because I've never been in a relationship. Rather than having been in one in which I didn't love the other person or did but couldn't say so.

I said it first to her, she said it back straight away; I guess she'd been waiting for me to say it?

There was a film where a scene is a guy has got a woman back to his apartment and they're making out then she just says, "Are you gonna ask me the three word question?" The guy understandably freaks out and it kills the mood. Turns out she meant, "Suck my dick?" which is brilliant. Any time I hear about the three word question I think of this scene. It had the guy from Sliders in it, and I can't for the life of me remember the name of the film.

I've had it said to me twice first. however, I doubt either of them one saying it were that emotionally stable, so I doubt it had any veracity.
